James looked down at the cat and frowned.
Aren’t cats supposed to be hostile to strangers? Why is this one so friendly with me?
Murmur looked at the man who was staring down at it and sweetly meowed once, but when James ignored it, it felt aggrieved. It bumped its head against his ankles, meowing again but this time louder, almost as if complaining.
This man would always pet it and hold it in his arms, but now he was just standing there like a fool not doing anything even after it called out to him so sweetly.
With the cat being too loud, James had no choice but to take it in his arms and pacify it. When he saw that the cat calmed down, James opened the door of the bedroom and stepped out.
From where he stood, he could see the living room and his eyes caught a glimpse of blue hair from behind a couch.
So this is her house…
But why was he here?
