/"You are not helping,/" I nearly growl to which Monica giggles. She thinks she is funny. /"I wish you were here with me,/" I whine.
/"Well too bad someone had to take over your teaching of the cheer team. You know that I wasn’t the best person to choose for that right?/"
/"I know but I figured you would like the extra pay for a week,/" I shrug. Monica may be perky, and you would think of her as the cheerleader over me any day, but I was the coach. I had been on the varsity team my last two years in high school and was the only teacher that had any experience, so I was the chosen. I was more into running than cheering but it was working well enough.
