Michelle followed Ein toward the forest, where they were supposed to hunt. As promised, she was only allowed to carry a dagger as protection in case of an emergency. As an observer, she could only stay quiet behind him and watch how Ein went about hunting wild game.
Most of their time was spent tracking their prey and traversing the uneven terrain of the forest, while the actual hunting was only for a short moment. With Ein's skill using a bow, all the birds and boars were slain in only a single hit. It was a perfect testament to both his accuracy and knowledge about animals.
Halfway through the afternoon, they would then start on their way back. The prey they had finished bloodletting was then recovered before returning. The assistant was supposed to be the one to carry most of their baggage, but Ein didn't even mind it and only left a couple of birds tied together for Michelle to carry.
That was merely the beginning, however.
