The next day, just before the sun peeked over the horizon, Ein had already gone out and gathered the group to clear the Siren's Dungeon. Before him, six wolves, the largest of the group, sat in a straight line with their chests puffed out proudly. Of course, the large wolf that came with Ein toward Alfheim before was also included, as it was now almost twice the size of the others.
Before each of the wolves, two blue slimes were jiggling their basketball-sized bodies, seemingly excited for their first excursion ever. Ein nodded his head, finishing the arrangements he had made.
Six wolves and twelve slimes weren't too many that Ein would be unable to keep track of everyone, nor were they too few that they'd end up useless. It was the optimal number that he could make use of and protect at the same time.
"Now, we only need to wait for the rest," Ein muttered while stretching his tired body.
