As the fight went on, Ein was slowly reaching the point where he could dodge the attacks even before they were sent. Samael, in order to hit Ein properly, increased the range of the flames of his sword, scorching a wider area around it.
"Kuh!"
Each of Samael's swings was enough to crack the space before him. Furthermore, the flames that burned everything were raging wildly everywhere around him. It was getting harder to evade the attacks, making Ein's counters less frequent.
Taking advantage of a large horizontal swing sent by Samael, Ein blocked it with Gram and used the impact to gain distance. As soon as he did, he took a deep breath, revitalizing his body that was longing for air. However, instead of feeling refreshed, the air was singeing his throat.
Ein clicked his tongue as he felt that the battle was slowly tilting in Samel's favor.
"What now? Where's your earlier fervor, trash?!"
