Ein sharpened his senses to the limit, convincing himself to give his best to last as long as he could. His focus was so intense that his vision started to turn black and white, his brain disregarding processing colors, just to keep the most important, basic information in his vision: his enemy's movements!
"Come, Ein! Let's enjoy this fight to our heart's content!" Gene shouted in a crazed tone, cackling loudly.
Then, without telegraphing his movements, he suddenly appeared before Ein, closing the distance in an instant.
"...!"
Ein raised the sword in his hand, blocking the punch that Gene launched at blinding speeds.
*TANG!*
The hit managed to shake his sword down to its core, causing Ein's hand to stiffen as it was thrown upward. His chest became open for a strike, and Gene didn't miss the chance, using his left hand to go for a straight punch.
"Tsk!"
