Prince Franco was forced to work even before the sun rose. Ein and Althea were both seated in the waiting room for visitors, where they could get the most privacy. However, they weren't sitting right beside each other, but rather across the small glass table.
The frown on the two's faces was making Prince Franco feel like his life was hanging by a thread, staying in a room with the two. The few minutes that the investigation was ongoing felt like days in his senses.
Finally, the few guards he tasked with the investigation finally returned, kneeling right before the door and explaining everything that happened.
"Sir! The guards that were supposed to patrol the hallways and the garden were all found asleep in the cellar! They weren't injured, but they all claim to have no memory of how they were knocked out!"
"All?" Ein, hearing the report, frowned.
