The monsters were coming closer with every passing second. While the distance between them was shortening, their anxiety was increasing.
The first ones to reach the traps were the small robots. One after another, they tripped and fell into the holes dug by the dragonkins and the beastmen girls. The traps seemed effective in trimming their numbers, at least. However, the number of enemies was just beyond their control.
"There's just too many of them!" Aurora exclaimed, fear coating her voice.
With the enemy's numbers, it would only be a matter of time before the entire base would get run over by them.
*Bam!* *Thud!*
Some of the small and medium-sized robot monsters had already reached the wall, slamming hard against it as if trying to open a hole in it. However, the wall was just made a little too tough for them to destroy. Seeing that the wall remained unscathed by their continuous attacks, Nayta and Melina heaved a sigh of relief.
