Lilith's rain of little fireballs was enough to clear the little robots surrounding Melina and the two mermaids. Without any hesitation, she landed right beside the three of them, who were close together in the middle of the monster's encirclement.
"Out of mana? Why?" Lilith asked, turning to the two who were slumped on the ground and out of energy.
"Well, we were fighting before, and they essentially tried to match my pace. In the end, they ran out of mana," Melina explained with a worried smile.
Although she did want to just reap their tags and make them retire from the game, without their infrequent help in clearing out the mobs whenever they recovered their mana, Melina would've fallen way before. In the end, she decided to keep them as "backup" or "bait" in case of emergencies.
