Ein surveyed the surroundings, but it was a flat location with nothing obstructing the view. The only things that they could see, other than the large hole above their heads that was slowly closing, were a pitch-black blob and a shining teleportation array behind it.
"... Is that the boss?" Ein furrowed his brows, frowning deeply as he stared at the last enemy they had to face.
Just from a single glance, Ein decided that it wasn't something that was worthy of being the last defense. He was confident that he could take it out with just one flick of his finger. Since he was not feeling any threat from it, Ein moved forward a few steps.
"Master... Wait, no!"
Michelle tried to stop him after realizing what the blob was, but her warning came a tad too late. The blob, as soon as Ein entered a certain distance, started trembling. Its glossy black surface rippled as if on the surface of a calm lake when a stone was dropped.
"No!"
