Ein, without hesitation, entered the maze with unfaltering steps. As if he knew the maze like the back of his hand, he led the party onward, turning right on the second junction, then turning left on the second junction after turning. Two junctions ahead, another left, then another two junctions before turning right, then repeat the pattern from the start.
Basically, it was just turning right, right, left, and left for every second junction they met. It was a simple pattern, but it would take ages if you followed the basic right-hand rule when clearing mazes.
As a sign that they were really on the right path, every now and then they would encounter sirens heading for the exit. Of course, they didn't let them pass through. With Nayta and Melina's swift actions, the sirens would get punctured with mana arrows before they could even come close.
As they proceeded further, Althea suddenly shouted a warning, "Lord Ein, watch your steps!"
