The scrolls were good because it can be cast instantly. Although it was only 10% chance, that was only back in the game. In reality there was no such a thing as chance.
I still need to find the chance to see how effective the poison is. Back in the game poisoned status gives 5% tick damage every turn. It was a good debuff to fight against boss or monster with huge HP.
＜Arachne's Dagger＞ is a great weapon. However, my biggest reward is the book.
"Concentrate"is a passive skill that increase INT 50. That means I got 10 level worth of INT just by learning this skill.
INT doesn't only increased the power of my magic but also enchant my mind. It also makes my thought process faster. In fighting, it helps me responds faster in deciding countermeasures.
No matter how fast my body could move, it would be useless if my decision was wrong. Since I have low mana pool, having faster thought process in decision making is more important for me.
On the contrary, even if I lost in terms of speed, as long as I can read the enemy movement and plan a trap for them after simulating it inside my mind while fighting, I could still win.
Satisfied with my rewards, I put my hand on the transporter. The crystal shined and light enveloped my body as I was being teleported.
In the next moment, I was moved to the dungeon entrance. Looking upwards, the majestic tower still astonished me.
I let out a sighed.
Although there are danger everywhere, this world has a lot of wonderful place with novel scenery.
The air outside the dungeon was refreshing. Maybe because they air inside was contaminated by the abyss seeds, it felt a bit heavy and suffocating. Although I'm used to it by now, it still uncomfortable.

The smells of woods and soils assaulted my nose. The scent of earth was particularly relaxing.
When I took a look around, I found myself standing in the middle of the forest surrounded by trees.
The sun over my head shone brightly, wind blows the trees and the leaves fluttered as if the forest were dancing.
I looked at the "Tree of Redemption" and slightly bowed my head to pay respect.
The world might forgot about them, but as someone who had entered the dungeon from their story and became stronger inside it, I couldn't help but feel respect.
If their tragedy didn't happened, the tower would not exist and I would lose my chance to grow stronger in this short time.
"One day, I will cleared the tower as a payback and release you from your misery"
I muttered quitely and left this place.

It was around 2 p.m when I arrived at the town.
"Halt! What's your business here?"
I was stopped by the soldier guarding the entrance.
"I'm going to the inn on the west side to rest"
The soldier was looking at me with suspicious eyes. It can't be helped I guess. Currently, I'm wearing tattered clothes with unkempt appearances.
Forget about tidying up, I haven't take a bath for 40 fucking days! At first, I could still wipe my body, but as time passed, provision especially water became low. From the 16th floor I had to survive by drinking monsters blood to quenched my thirst.
I don't know whether becoming savage in order to learn survival skills is a fair trade or not. Although being alive and getting stronger is a good thing.
Forget it, I should be glad I'm not corrupted by the abyss aura and turned into a madman.
I took out the Scarlet emblem from my pocket and showed it to the soldier.

"Forget it, just let me in. I've been wandering around the forest and want to get some rest"
I walked into the town and went straight to the inn where Orland and Bruce stays. On the way, people kept looking at me with curious looks.
Considering the time, it was the busiest part of the day where people worked or walking around the town after having lunch. Seeing someone with unkempt appearances with tattered clothes walking around the town is really rare.
Especially since my current appearances is even worse than a beggar.
After arriving at the inn, I looked for Orland and Bruce, but both of them were not here. The innkeeper looked at me with suspicious eyes, so I threw a gold coin at her to prepare me foods, clothes, a bath and a room.
She was smiling brightly after seeing the gold. No matter the world, money will moves the people. I decided to get some foods and took a bath while waiting for the two of them to came back.
It was already 7 p.m by the time I finished my bath. I spent 3 hours washing myself over and over again until I finally felt my body was clean.
After putting on a new clothes, I finally felt like a normal human again. I put my equipments inside the magic bag since I went out of the tower to hide everything about my exploration.
The tattered clothes is the cover for me as I don't know whether there is someone in the town spying me or not.
I went down to eat my dinner and saw two men wearing knight armor were sitting together.
"Yo! Where did you two go in the afternoon?"
I greeted Orland and Bruce.
"Rain-sama! We were visiting the tavern to gathered informations. Are you alright? Is your training went well?"
Orland asked me.
"I'm fine. Forget about training, the only thing I learned is eating wild fruits to survive and dealing with toilet needs"
I answered dejectedly.
"Hahaha! You should be proud kid! No aristocrats child can survive in the forest as long as you!"
"Bruce! Watch your words! Please forgive him, Rain-sama. He is a rude fellow, I will make sure to discipline him"
Orland bowed his head and apologized.
"It's fine. I don't care about manner or etiquette anyway. Feel free to talk to me casually"
"Thank you for your kindness. However, we cannot do so as we're the vassal of Scarlet family"
"Hahaha! The kid say it's fine, so you just comply with him, Orland"
"Bruce, you!"
"Forget it, just do whatever you want"
I shook my head as I saw the two of them.
"Hey, kid. So, how was your training? did you learned anything useful?"
"As I said before, I only learned how to survive by eating wild fruits and dealing with toilet needs. I don't know if I'm lucky or not, but I didn't met a single monsters at all. It's like they're avoiding me like a plague"
"How is it possible? Although the forest is just beginner place for adventurer, it still has quite a lot of monster albeit their level is low"
"I don't know. I've been wandering around the forest day and night looking for monsters but I never met them. I feel like I even went into the deepest part of the forest, but the only thing I found are wild animals like wolf, rabbit and deer"
"Hooo, interesting. Are you sure you went inside the forest and not just stay at the outskirt?"
"As if I would let the opportunity to bragged to that shitty brother of mine. I was planning to kill a few monsters and bring their body or something back to show off at home"
I clenched my teeth in frustration.
"Well, it must be frustrating for you, kid"
"It is! You don't know how frustrating I feel! It feels like you were asked by the king to save a kidnapped princess only to find out that the princess was actually a goblin and she was actually fell in love with the kidnapper who is an orc!"
I let out my frustration and complained to them. I could felt they were looking at me with symphaty.
"Cheer up, kid!"
"Well, how about we catch a monster on the way back as a souvernir? we will keep it a secret from everyone"
"Orland, are you serious?"
Bruce was surprised by Orland's idea.
"We can't let Rain-sama came back with empty hand, right?"
"That's a good idea, Orland! As expected of the vice-captain of the Scarlet knight!"
I praised Orland and looked at him with sparkling eyes.
"Then, we will depart in two days. I will take my time to rest because I didn't have enough rest when I live in the forest"
"Understood. Please have a good rest, Rain-sama"
"Rest well, kid!"
I bid them goodbye and went to my room. With this, I managed to fool the two of them and kept my image as the useless son of the Scarlet family.
Feeling relieved, I threw myself into the bed and closed my eyes. The exhaustion hit me so hard that I fell asleep as soon as I hit the bed.
