The energy that surrounds this planet is called the "Mantra" so far I do not know the origin of this energy, and where it came from, all I know is that it can only be freely used and manipulated by a chosen few via various methods although it all comes down to being naturally oblige hence a chosen, or forceful acquisition via artificial means or an outside source, such as technology or ancient artifacts.
And those who know how to use and utilize the power of Mantra naturally are called The Enlighten, meanwhile, those who wish to forcefully use this power despite lacking the qualification through, technological or artificial means are called Dreamers.
Now what can Mantra be used for, and what is the difference between the Enlighten and the Dreamers, well to be honest this entire world seems to be one heavily focus on spirituality, so much so, this entire planet is powered by belief, to point the planet itself is a mutant among other celestial body in its own right.
For one the planet itself seems, to be releasing Mantra naturally on its own and at a limitless level, however since Mantra is a supernatural energy source. It also affects everyone on the planet at the supernatural level meaning those who were titled as the Enlighten gain their powers through a deeper understanding of their inner-self meaning enlightened ones awaken their powers through desire or emotions, as a result, the power scale of this world all depends on one personal understanding of themselves, seeing there is no limit to how strong one can become.
Meanwhile, a Dreamer is someone who lacks a greater understanding of themselves but still wants to have unfathomable power similar to an Enligthen one, so as a way to increase their power they plunder from the efforts of others, as a result, they are referred to as the wannabes, however, even a fake can outclass the original under right circumstances.
Meaning a Dreamers can be just as or maybe even more dangerous than enlighten, they are referred to as an elite set of individuals who would kill those with power, and convert the bodies of monsters and maybe in rare cases another Enligthen, into living bioweapons, or overall convert their very being as a type of add-ons or augmentation to empower themselves even more. They even go as far as to use the spiritual energy of the planet as a battery to power their weapon through the mean of science, in short, this world is a combination of High Fantasy meets sci-fi.
It is an interesting combination indeed, although Mantra isn't so simple either, yes it is used as a catalyst and an energy source to make enlighten and Dreamers use their powers and weapons, but due to it existing on this planet for millions of years, Animals have adapted and evolved to utilize the power of Mantra as well, as a result, there exist two main threat in this world from both the sea people and land people if you look from it from their perspective.
However let's look at it, from the land Dwellers' perspective, the first threat would be the civilization of the sea called the Outersaurs, not only are they far more powerful than the Dwellers who inhabit the lands according to Khaos scanners they were also the first set of civilizations to exist on this planet henceforth their knowledge, and power is nothing to scoff at, although the Outersaur consider us to be just as dangerous.
However, the neutral enemy of both the Outersaurs and the Dwellers is the second threat that is referred to as "The Primus Beast" the plagues of the world.
A Primus Beast is an animal or plant that has been heavily mutated due to being exposed by the Mantra in the atmosphere, a perfect example of a Primus would be the grunts I kill and the Kyjuchillia who I will so fight to the death with.
And this right here brings an end to all the information Khaos has gathered about the world, when she quickly scene the planet, although due to it being so quick this was the information age can get for me. Still, with this, I now have the basic common sense of this world power hierarchy.
On the other, however, the language I learned from Khaos is now readable but where it stems from is unknown, hopefully, the journal can help me acquire the missing variable.
