Chapter 47 - 0.47

After our harrowing triumph against those grotesque disgusting fucks, our respite proved fleeting. We swiftly realized that with every enemy we vanquished, two more emerged from the accursed depths of the Island universe beneath us. It became an unyielding onslaught, a nightmare from which there appeared to be no reprieve.

Thus, I ensnare them in the Causality-time loop I had fashioned to prevent disrupting our journey.

We press forward, continuing our march, a prospect I dreaded, knowing that curiosity only invites trouble.

Already, I sense the tendrils of madness inching closer, threatening to envelop me in their malevolent grasp.

While a few among us, like Hui and select disciples of our inner sect, remained unscathed by the encroaching madness, the majority of us were not so fortunate.

"Hui, don't you feel a darkness that had slumbered for eons, waiting to claim us all in its endless embrace?"

"Don't worry honey," she replies, her tone unwavering. "I have taken every precaution to ensure your safety."

I appear to be the only odd one out here, disregarding a few cowards, but my conviction remains steadfast as the sense of dread only deepens, whispers of ancient evils lurking just beyond the veil of reality.

The ordeal drags on, each moment stretching into eternity as we stumble upon a myriad of monstrous creatures.

With each encounter, the air becomes thick with the sickening scent of torn flesh and spilled blood, as the beasts with multiple antennae and heads stacked upon each other meet their gruesome end.

Despite their terror-inducing appearance, I can't help but feel a pang of sympathy for them, acknowledging that these creatures, while terrifying, are merely defending their territory in the abyss.

Yet, they would inevitably breach into the Elemental world of the Upper realm if not vanquished from time to time, so still, they deserve condemnation.

And setting that aside, why are these two fools smirking, and my dear Hui staring at me?

Have I faltered somewhere?

"Hui, can you stop staring at me and wipe out the blood from your face?" I ask, trying to ignore the unsettling smile she is occasionally flashing.

"Sure, I'm having such a great time," she replies, her tone oddly cheerful.

She gives a creepy smile for sure sometimes, isn't she?

Hui Ying: * I've recorded all his heroic moments. Once I return home, I'll binge-watch them with my Mirror self. Ahhhh, I can't wait to watch them repeatedly on repeat and on repeat, over and over again.*

< Disciple ████████ favorable impression of you has increased to 4 stars.>

We proceeded with cautious steps, coming upon the Golden River. Tracing its meandering course, we felt an irresistible pull leading us further into the depths of darkness, where the foreboding Sludgy Large Hills loomed ominously in the distance.

The landscape was dotted with numerous expansive caves and intricate rock formations.

Everyone halted at the sight of the large imposing sculpture and turned to me, eyes brimming with hope so I could give some insight into grotesque features carved with meticulous detail,

Through an intuitive pure understanding of mine, I gleaned the message: "Return to whence you came, or face the consequences."

Letting out a soft exhale, I began deciphering the cryptic inscription. "It appears to say something akin to 'kele ba si ti...'"

"It could be interpreted as 'Qul-basty,'" the leader of the mob, who oversaw all the disciples, proposed.

I shook my head and said, "Yes, but phonetically, the sculpture spells out 'kele ba si ti,' indicating 'night terror,' which aligns with the sculptor's portrayal as hairy and smelly."

Mob leader got close to it and sat near it and looked up at me, opening his mouth like a bitch in heat.

I don't mean to insult him by making such a narrow perception of him but reality needs to be said.

"Might you need to say more on this night terror Your Majesty, Love be upon you?" Kennedy asks.

"I certainly wouldn't dare say more on this abyss and invite trouble onto us."

"I hope the monster arising out at most be able to kill at least a few of us."

A shiver ran down the some cowards' spine as the implications of our surroundings began to sink in.

I certainly didn't want to judge them but I couldn't help but feel a twinge of frustration as I observed the facial reaction of these 2 disciples behind us.

While Hui and I brave the discomfort of our surroundings, enduring hundreds of thousands of needles piercing through us, here these two cowards are acting slick and scaredy-cat due to the mere words of the mob leader.

Kennedy might be a better collection for my walls rather than The Prince, I guess.

"Before we begin I must warn you all, There is nothing but the abstraction of terror here."

Kennedy warns all the outer sect disciples who are acting as if they have lost their spines.

"These three are all new disciples. They might have undertaken some training tasks, but their experience is a bit lacking. I apologize for their cowardly display," he also communicates telepathically to me, perhaps pleading for an apology.

In the midst of chaos, Hui remains silent, her stoic demeanor betraying no hint of fear or uncertainty.

I pondered why she had not assumed command until now, but at this moment, the revelation surfaced that the abyss could potentially breach into the real world, unleashing the darkest realities into the elemental realm, that each Kingdom began mobilizing Warriors.

Initially, it was the wanderers and military forces that were deployed. However, it didn't take long before they realized that it was not the government, but rather the Warriors who held the key.

Thus, MurimFantasia was born (yet three great theocracies still reign over it and above it), And Hui Ying is the Heir to Heavenly Martial Manor and a Bhikkhuni Trainee in the Chan theocracy.

I comprehend that she transcends the role of a mere Commander; she is a chief ace, poised to confront any challenge daring to stand in our way.

After taking a rest, we embark on our journey deeper into the heart of darkness. The very fabric of the Island Universe seems to warp and bend, twisting into grotesque shapes and forms.

The landscape soon becomes a tapestry of nightmares, each step forward a descent into madness.

And yet, amidst the encroaching darkness, in the weak minds of outer sect disciple cowards, there remains a glimmer of hope, a flickering beacon amidst the gathering shadows.

For even in the face of unspeakable horrors, there are those among us who refuse to yield, who stand resolute against the encroaching tide of madness.

The happiness I feel when I sense the emotion of Hope directed toward me is indescribable by words, but maybe it is in their best interest that Inner Sect disciples, Kennedy and Hui have the strength to press onward, to confront the horrors that lurk within the abyss, and to emerge victorious against all odds as I'm just a selfish person but mind you I don't think there is anything wrong with this word. People's minds have tainted it with negativity and dirtiness but in truth selfishness is self-realization and keeping yourself in touch with reality.

"HOOTS!" "SCREECHES!"

"By the Adi-Buddha, what manner of abomination is this?" cried out Disciple A, his voice tinged with a mixture of horror and disbelief.

"I spent years cultivating my Qi, only to meet my end in such a manner," lamented Disciple B, his words choked with despair.

Disciple C, meanwhile, stood frozen in place, his mind racing with thoughts of flight and survival.

They say loudly rather than silently in their heart but everyone ignores them since they are merely Outer Sect disciples brought along for formality, and most are too preoccupied with the sight before them loomed a monstrosity unlike any they had ever seen: A large Three-Horned Ape, its sludgy, rotting body endlessly rotating with bones visibly protruding and pulsating with an Extra worldly energy.

The beast starts running towards us, each stride shaking the island universe.

The others get nearly killed except Kennedy but are still overall safe due to protective jade rocks. But what about us?

Well, I'm pretty sure that if I hadn't reversed the vector with my Qi telekinesis, I would have died.

Hui understood in an instant that It would result in loss of life so she didn't wait even a bit and takes out the magic weapon, Tianmoji - Heaven-Demon Sword.

A large field of Heavenly lightning is created surrounding the beast and the Tianmoji summons an Elemental force of it over the beast.

As the crackling energy surged forth, the creature let out a deafening roar, its form writhing and contorting in agony as the elemental force of the Tianmoji bore down upon it but unknown to us...
