Chapter 17 - Ch 0.17 : Trial (1) (Edited)

In my previous life, When I was a kid, I served an annoying neighbor their pet as a succulent meal. Of course, I told them about it after they said it was delicious and looked at their horrified expressions. Just kidding.

I never told them. I was a kid, so I secretly cooked it and put it inside their dinner, and they never found their pet. This was also a joke.

But seriously This is how the trial will be conducted this year?

I'm sitting in a simulation formation. It's a formation that will transfer us in a simulation and it's potent to such a degree that its effects might be carried onto our reality, It could either break us apart or who knows.

It's also mixed with samsara formations sadly so our effects would create an Island universe in our realm's small world and cause a Retcon there.

Just for a little context, Small worlds are like reflections of the Elemental world. It is altogether an MWI Multi-layered Expansive Pataphysical Hyper-space as per current knowledge, trapped inside all Realms that is capable of sustaining life. It is made by the combined consciousness of residents of their respective realms into existence through possible imagination, thoughts, ideas, desires, wishes, concepts, and even feelings.

It has multiple layers within it ranging from shallow to deep consisting of countless island universes. They are infinite in size non-elemental worlds but still exist inside and yet separate from the Finite Hypersphere.

The bad news here for me here was they could see everything we did there, and the good news was they wouldn't judge us on our terrible acts there.

At the last moment, the sect leader decided to test our fortitude and Adaptability through it rather than just conventional fighting and comprehending techniques so trials will be divided into 4 parts.

The first trial aims to drop us at the bottom of the pit and wants us to climb higher and impact the world at the highest level. It checked whether we have what it takes to become a Martial artist—a fortitude to never bow down.

The second trial's Motive is to see whether the participant can live a life without being under the influence of 4 great evils.

The Third trial will test whether the Qualifier can comprehend Way.

The Fourth trial will be a simple martial arts competition.

Thousands of candidates qualified this year for this trial and unfortunately, hardly anyone would reach the last stage.

"Begin," shouted Qasim Valerian, the sect leader of the Hatite sect, at the top of his lungs.

Yes, this marks the commencement of the 250007th Divine Tower tournament.

....

Ji Yan was reborn as a peasant in a small world. It was a fiefdom where strict slavery was followed. The wealthy landlords held all the power. They owned the land, the crops, and the people who worked on it. The peasants were forced to toil from dawn until dusk, sweated and bled, their meager earnings a pittance in exchange for their unending toil. It was a cesspool of exploitation, ripe for the spark of rebellion to ignite into an inferno i.e. barely earning enough to feed their families. In short, it was a very exploitative system where just one Spark of fire could burn the entire forest

Ji Yan grew old, got married, and had children. he also became the favorite Servant of the Fief as He was a very good sycophant. He used to say what his Fief wanted to hear. He also suggested land reforms and new agriculture techniques which generated very high profits making him even more likable in his Fief's eyes. He also became a very proficient hunter and gave 3/4th of his hunt to the Fief.

Ji Yan later introduced an exploitative-type employment system in place of the Slavery system in the world through the help of his Fief. In this system, People would be 'educated', and taught 'morals' through Arts and gospels.

A servant was barred as unfit from acquiring education by himself so a scholar from The upper class would impart education or give advice to a slave. It was made mandatory that the slaves should know the rules and regulations and they should recite and practice it. Violators will burn in hellfire.

By creating a fear of hell and giving them Greedful bait of heaven there was a creation of acceptance of their status.

There was a mindset set uped through preaching of gospels where Slaves willfully accepted servile work, for they were created by the creator to be the slaves of a Noble blood and they were reincarnated as slaves because of their Past life bad deeds.

They started serving noble blood for the sake of heaven and the next life as only through the service of noble blood they could gain all his ends and service of noble blood alone was declared to be an excellent occupation for a slave for whatever else besides this, he may perform will bear him no fruit.

All ancestors of slaves were made to be perceived as Demons subtly via Entertainment and literature slowly and slowly.

Ji Yan aware of the potential threat posed by protest and revolution after his death, employed supervision upon social gatherings of slaves and engineers a swift but subtle indoctrination in the enslaved population's mindset regarding the protest by introducing teachings that advocated for nonviolence and emphasized the approach of pleading with masters if dissatisfied with master treatment with him rather than resorting to violence and exposing matter about dissatisfaction to third party would only lead to lifetime community service.

He propagated the idea that confrontation or disruptive actions would only lead to severe consequences for the slaves and their families would forever burn in hellfire.

This, later on, led to the belief even among potential revolutionaries who were not like other obedient sheep that the best course of action lies in appealing to the humanity of their masters rather than challenging the oppressive system itself.

Many revolutionaries were often heard saying "I do know in so far if it is based on violence, it is in the denial of God, it repels us... we are an uncompromising opponent of violent methods even to serve the noblest of causes."

Ji Yan's status rose to the highest rank as The father of this social system. Shortly after, He became the prime minister of the Empire after the supposed death of his Feudal lord by old age or they say.

He was hailed as the architect of a social structure that abolished slavery on paper but slyly sustained it in practice. It existed for thousands of years and only started getting condemned 50 years after the fall of aristocracy and feudal-ship from the entire world and the starting of democracy.

Despite his evil actions, Ji Yan was celebrated falsely as a crusader against slavery, as he meticulously crafted posthumous rock edicts, cave paintings, and Unnamed Travelling Merchants diaries attributing martyrdom and miraculous tales to his name before his death resulting in various historians having the opinion that he was crucified by the king for campaigning against the abolishment of slavery and the belief that the gospel written by Ji Yan was actually changed by later rulers and hence it got corrupted making Ji Yan an innocent, Socialist and revolutionary figure in history.

His Gospels carried messages that on the surface align with socialist ideals, but their implementation or the resulting consequences upheld a system that perpetuated imperialism and discrimination.

That gospel written by him had negatively impacted society until the end through the vilifying of slaves' ancestors, Black companies, and the Government education system.

Slavery which could have been abolished in the 3rd century got setback by thousands of years and just changed its mask.

I've finally returned huh? It's been nearly a century from my perspective.

I can't help but miss my wife and sons in that world.

Returning to reality, I wondered if my manipulative historical misrepresentations had taken root. System, Did my historical misrepresentations succeed?

Ok, so Nothing went outside the palm of my calculation.

Alas, I still can't help but miss my wife and sons in that world.

"Well done. Well done." I heard many voices echoing around me coming from above.
