Chapter 14 - Chapter 13

Brian takes a defensive stance as the bandits approach, brandishing their swords. He remembers his training and tries to stay calm, focusing on using his surroundings to his advantage.

He nimbly dodges the bandits' attacks, ducking behind trees and leaping over logs to avoid their blades. Despite his efforts, he can't help but get a few shallow cuts as the bandits relentlessly pursue him.

As he fights, Brian can't help but think about Minji, who is watching from a safe distance. He knows he can't let the bandits get to her, and he redoubles his efforts, determined to protect his friend.

As Brian fights the two bandits, he is struggling to keep up with their attacks. He is getting worn down, and his movements are becoming sluggish.

Despite this, he refuses to give up. He glances over at Minji, who is watching the fight with a mixture of fear and determination. He can't let her down, so he pushes himself even harder.

Brian starts to get more creative with his use of the environment, trying to use the trees and other obstacles to his advantage. He manages to land a few good hits on the bandits, but they are able to recover quickly and continue their assault.

As the fight drags on, Brian can feel himself getting more and more exhausted. He knows that he can't keep this up for much longer. He just hopes that he can hold out long enough for a chance to turn the tide in his favor.

Brian was holding his own, but the bandits were relentless and seemed to have a never-ending supply of energy. Brian's arms were getting heavy, and he knew he wouldn't be able to hold on much longer.

Just when it seemed like all hope was lost, Brian remembered something his mother had told him when he was a child. She had said that the greatest warriors weren't those who relied on brute strength, but those who used their wits.

Inspired by his mother's words, Brian began to look for a way to turn the tide of the battle in his favor. He noticed a large tree branch lying on the ground nearby, and an idea struck him.

As the bandits rushed at him, Brian dropped his sword and staggered towards the bandits, which surprised the bandits. He took the chance to grab the branch and swung it with all his might. The branch connected with the head of one of the bandits, knocking him unconscious.

The other bandit was momentarily taken aback by his comrade's sudden defeat, and in that moment of hesitation, Brian struck. With a flurry of swift sword strokes, he took down the remaining bandit, finally ending the fight.

Exhausted and wounded, Brian collapsed to the ground, his breathing ragged. He had won the fight, but at a great cost. As darkness closed in around him, he could hear Minji calling his name, her voice filled with concern. And then, everything went black.
