Chapter 11 - First day at class

After the ceremony, students were supposed to reach their respective classes. Exiting the auditorium, I walked alongside Ruby in the corridor leading us to class A. She kept quiet for a long time, and I didn't pry into her situation, just accompanied her to her class.

"Then I'll see you around after the classes", I said.

"Sure", she replied and with that left for her class.

'Did I do something?', I thought looking at her gloomy face.

Neglecting her attitude, I walked towards my classroom, A-1. The atmosphere in the corridor was bustling, walking past the crowd, ignoring the gazes akin to the admiration I was getting from the ladies, I arrived in front of the classroom.

The classroom had inclined seatings with a capacity of 40-45, even though there were only thirty students in the class. Chairs were placed at the semi-circle desks facing the teaching area with a huge whiteboard of superior grades as they did not tend to leave marks behind, even after erasing.

The desks did not have any embedded stationary in them, cadets were supposed to bring all the stuff with them. Now you might be wondering why no one was carrying a bag, it's because of the storage ring provided by the academy which had a capacity of two gallons.

Students in my class were already seated, unlike other classes. I was the last one to arrive.

When I entered, most of the cadets turned their attention towards me. I walked to the last seat of the row opposite our protagonist Sun-Jung, who was sitting beside Ji-Ho on the desk near the window.

"How can a beggar like you attain rank one?", and a douchebag appeared. Common cringe novel tropes.

I turned to face the person who just spoke as everyone was now paying attention to us. A golden-haired, arrogant chicken.

"I am ranked one because I am stronger than you", I stated like it was pretty obvious and added, "Did your mother feed you with dung when your father went to buy milk cause you're being a shit".

At my remark, everyone in the class snickered trying their best to control their laugh. He was about to reply to my statement when the classroom gate opened with a large reverberated sound.

*THUD*

A lady with two big volleyballs, uh- I mean with a mature figure walked in. She had a captivating appearance accompanied by her light blue hair and cobalt blue eyes.

"Everyone, be seated", she said releasing her intent, to which the douchebag and all the students except the top five rankers flinched.

Ignoring her little act I took my seat.

"Now that I have everyone's attention", she paused and took out a register from her storage ring, "My name is Mun-Hee and I'll be your homeroom teacher for the following year".

Mun-Hee, the daughter of a filthy rich Korean businessman, also an S-ranked auror warrior herself, is the third female lead of the story. With the help of Sun-Jung's analysis skill, she advanced to the SS rank. Our protagonist along with dealing with her persistent pursuer, Berett Wood, a colleague of hers, got close to her. They both had the most intimate relationship throughout the story, so much so that at some point I thought it was a porn novel.

After introducing herself she started taking our attendance.

"Kael Hashirae, Rank 1"..." Present"

"Stella Gracia, Rank 2"..." Present"

"Alex spencer, Rank 3"..." Present"

Alex spencer is also an important character, as he becomes the rival of the main character in the later stages of the novel.

His father is the owner of the international finance tower of Arizona and the Guild master of the third most powerful guild in the world, Pheonix Guild. He has a striking appearance accompanied by his blonde hair and grey eyes.

"Jesse Madison, Rank 4"..." Present"

Jesse Madison, the fourth female lead, as for her description, uh.....a loli.

"..." (Rests are extras and side characters)

"Ji-Ho, Rank 8"..." Present"

"Sun-Jung, Rank 30"..." Present"

"Since today is our first day, we won't be focusing on theory, rather I'll be personally assessing your skills so that it's easy for me to guide you", Mun-Hee said as she instructed us to follow her to the training area.
