I ran as fast as I could trying to escape the devil. He appeared in front of me suddenly. I fell straight on my ass. I put my hand up with my palm facing him but nothing happened.
"My blood runs in your veins child, you cannot harm me." He said in a haunting voice.
"Please let me be. I cannot take responsibility for my mother's sins." I said as my voice quivered with fear.
"Your mother needs to pay the price for me bringing you back to life." He spoke as rage filled his eyes.
"Then go haunt my mother's dreams, I have nothing to do with this!" I tried to explain but I knew he wasn't going to listen.
"You will be the warning your mother gets. I will mark you." He squatted in front of me and took a hold of my wrist.
"No, please!" I sobbed as I felt a burning sensation in my wrist.
"I don't mean to hurt you, child but it is necessary." He smiled a creepy smile at me.
Everything faded and when I opened my eyes, I was back in my room. Tears were streaming down my face. I brought up my wrist straight to my eye level.
There was a tattoo of a skull with two snake eyes peeking out of the hollow eyes of the skull.
The sight of it made me want to wretch. I felt light headed then everything went dark.
