Chapter 5 - Hard shells

After a few clicks exchanged jac was then slapped by a heavy claw before the crustacean looked down at him in annoyance.

GURGLE~

Small bubbles were spat out from the mouth of the crustacean, floating for a while before popping in front of its face.

POW~

A slap was delivered to the hard carapace of the coruscation face it made it stamper back a bit as it glared at Jax with frustration

The Crustacion lunged at Jax but was then sent backward as a single flap of Jax's wings made them both spiral into the side of a building.

Glass from the building rained down onto cars and families below as adventures stumbled over to protect them from the shards of glass that rained down from the sky.

BOOM~

Another explosion of wind was heard and felt from the building the two creatures were flung into. Red fluffy fur started to float down from the building as the rain blared in everyone's ears.

Jax rolled into a room after the entry into the building before he looked upwards quickly. He was in a small office room that had a printer and computer he looked to the side of the deal to see a photo of a family and spilled coffee that was leaking off the desk and onto the floor.

'Looks like my father's old office. Just different of course not as future-looking as this one. Oh God, what am I talking about I must be losing my mind! Where did that crab bastard go?!' after that he turned his head he knew he got flung into the building with him but now he lost track.

"Hippo pressure" a voice was heard through the wall as a crab claw came through and grabbed Jax by the head before water wrapped around his head before he was dragged through the wall and slammed onto the floor sending both him and the crab through the floor to the next level.

A water bubble formed around his head as jax released some air bubbles before he swung his thorax around and slammed his stinger into the back of the crustacean's hard shell.

The hard carapace cracked as the creature let go scratching at it's back for a moment before swerving its tail around and slamming it sideways into jax body sending him twirling out of the building.

Jax grabbed onto a building wall that was made of bricks he climbed up the wall quickly and his body shattered before straightening up as he climbed before he heard a gust behind him as the rain started to react to the blast.

The crustacean with only the power of its tail as it flapped was able to send itself rocketing into the building that Jax was on.

The fur that jax had been leaving behind from the fight all started to fluff up including his own as red webs started to shoot up every where. Jax crawled onto these webs that was between the building that they was just in and he looked at the crustacean.

It had some fur that had hot lodged into it's carapace and it turned into web. it was healing it off it self while stumbling around on top of the building.

The crustacean looked over at jax before whipping it's tail around quickly making a gust of wind hit him. Jax spread his wings and started to ride the gust that went up and around a building before circling right back toward the crustacean.

Jax outstretched his arm as quickly. The rain got louder and louder as it hit the hard roof tops and flowed down to the ground like waterfalls.

The cruscaion lifted its big pincer up and pointed it at jax before opening it wide before slamming but shut. Pressure built up from the pincer shot out and hit has in the arm.

SHLICK~

PLACK~

In just one simple movement one of jax's arms was separated from his body. He crashed into the building before coming out the other side and hitting the ground hard.

His body rolled into the light of a lamp that was right intent on drainage his fur shaped as water droplets ran off from it and down his face.

The pain slowly started to set into his body as he clutched his wound tightly. He made slight whining sounds that came along with each click he made. with the pain hitting him in waves.

Clack
WRINEEE~

Clack~

Clack~

Hard steps were heard as jax looked to his side not moving his head at all as he noticed a shiny figure walking up to him slowly.

"I heard the insects were stronger in their hay day. I suppose that fact was wrong." the crustacean stepped into the light and kneeled down before grabbing the hand of Jax and looking at it.

"Wha- WHAT?! YOUR NOT EVEN ONE YEAR OF AGE?!" the creature looked back at the face of jax before scratching at it's back roughly as if something was annoying him.

"How the hell are you so strong you bastard!" jax head was violently grabbed and picked up before he was slammed into the ground face first before getting kicked into a wall. A loud crack could be heard.

CRACK~

KREEEK!

"I don't truly know what to say. But I do know that I got lucky. If I was just slightly weaker I think I would have lost." jax said as his head was looking at the ground.

"What do you mean?!" the crustacean stretched out his arm before he looks at his hand. He noticed something moving on his arm.

After a few seconds of observing, he noticed there was a trail of ants leading up to his back. They were all going into the crack that was made from the stinger of Jax.

The crustacean started to swipe the ants off itself before searching at his wound opening it even more than before.

"We will call this a draw! But for me I will still take my reward!" jax shouted the arm of the crustacean went limp before being severed by ants and falling off onto the ground. The ants soon after started to retreat from his body as the crustacean squirmed to the ground while holding its wounded arm.

"An arm for an arm?!" Jax said as he grabbed the arm of both him and the crustacean and dashed off into the darkness of the alley.

The crustacean saw cars pulling around the corner it used its other arm to open up the ground and go into the sewage system.

The only thing left at the sight was a mix of rain and different colored blood along with the fur and webs that jax had left behind.

Bzz~

Buzzing was heard as jax twirled into a cave on a mountain.

"Finally now I can start my own story."
