#Chapter4
Dreidan's POV
/"Mr Vaughn, Gareth signed the deal. He wants to meet you personally in two hours’ time./" Roberto, one of my workers informed me. Actually, Roberto is the only guy in the crew I can call a buddy. Not friend. I have no friends. That asshole, Gareth. I Thought he wouldn't sign it.
/"Good. Get my car. The black Lamborghini./" Living the kind of life I live isn't the easiest thing on earth. Knowing I have a lot of enemies wishing to have my head being fed to their dogs for breakfast. I know going back to Italy was the best thing to do but how could I possibly leave knowing I still had to finish with the clubs. I got up and got the files I needed him to sign. I can't get 20 million dollars from him without his signature on this documents. And to think he lives far from here. I get into my car and start speeding. I don't want to be late.
Screech!!!!!
I immediately pull to a stop as I almost knocked a kid down. Fucking teenagers.
/"What the hell kid? Are you outta your mind? /" I yell once I step out but the person I see is not a kid. It’s a damn angel. Piercing blue eyes, smooth skin, an amazing pout grazing soft looking lips on an innocent face and to top it all, she's a blonde. Fuck! I can't be admiring a kid. She seems irritated. I'm the one to be on the irritated side. She didn't look to see if a car was coming. She looks at me for a second like she's contemplating on what to say but what she does next gets me furious but worse still shocked. She sticks her tongue out and walks away. No one does that to me. No one disrespects me. And this little girl just did. But I need to be somewhere right now. I'm going to get her where she belongs. With that thought in mind, I get into my car and speed of again. I already have a picture of her in my car. Damn good Italians with their tiny cameras. I got one planted on each of my cars.

Once I get to that asshole, Gareth's, I slam the papers in front of him. He looks at me then looks at the papers. /"Sign./" I command.
/"Little Vaughn. I see you're growing balls in your garden every day. Well, good thing you still respect me. I'm not signing these papers though./" This old freaking creep. Who does he think he is? I look at him daring him not to. /"Looks don't work on me. I'm not one of those women you fück and bark at./"
/"Gareth Monthilvo, if you really are interested in investing in my club, you are going to sign this documents. I don't work without the signature./" I tell him. He should know by now not to mess with me. This isn't a child's play kind of business.
He looks at me and takes a sip of his Bourbon. Who drinks Bourbon at 8 in the morning? /"I spoke with Old Vaughn last night. And like I said, I'm not signing the documents./"
/"What does you and talking with my father has to do with my business? I see you aren't interested in doing business with me. I'll be waiting for a call if you change your mind./" I deadpanned and stood up to leave.
/"Wait for war little Vaughn. No one turns me down. I want to invest in your business but like I said, I'm not signing those documents. I'm not a fool. I know exactly what you have in those files./" He barked back. I can't wait to send a bullet right through his skull.
/"I'm not little, old man. Threats don't frighten me. Have a nice day Monthilvo./" And with that, I left his office. I was so furious. He made me drive all the way here for nothing. He was going to get it.
He's going down to hell.
***
I drive to Adam's the next morning, I have a flight to catch to Miami this evening to talk to my father. He has no right to talk to Monthilvo. I need to get my mind of that cöcksucker. I get into the café. Small yet classy. It feels like home and I always have my peace of mind here for a certain reason. Plus they sell the best coffee in New York. I mean they import fresh coffee from Jamaica.
Then she walked to me. The little blonde from yesterday. I know she is new here. I've never seen her here. I still have to deal with her. I didn't forget my plan.
/"Hi, my name is Kim____ /"
I never really had time for all this friendly formalities. As much as I want to hear her beautiful soft voice, I still have to punish her for being so reckless. I could have killed her yesterday. /"Save your speech, get me my coffee. Black, with just a cube of sugar./"
I knew the effect I was having on her. She was dumbstruck. /"Would you just do your damn job?/" I asked in irritation. She mumbled a small 'sorry' and scurried off. I smirked.
So her name is Kim?
She walked back after a few minutes and stepped a little closer to place the coffee on the glass table. I inhaled her strawberry mixed with lavender smell. Fuck, that’s a turn on. She stood there waiting for an acknowledgment. I looked at my watch. /"You're late. You took 5 minutes, 28 seconds to make my coffee and it takes just four minutes to make it./" I said in more irritation. I hate it when people waste my time and can't do their jobs properly.
