Chapter 30 - Beast World Peace

Shelly was thinking about introducing the Olympics to the beastmen. She would have to modify them because all beastmen were naturally strong and athletic. She was thinking about how to improve the lives of the villagers even more. She had already introduced laws, school, new recipes and medicine. She had noticed a general improvement in the village. Winston worked on the castle with the other males leaving one with Shelly every day for protection. It was finished in a week with the extra help.

They moved into the new castle and Shelly loved it! She planted an herb garden and had them dig a bathing area by the river. She thought it was like a natural pool. It was nice during the summer to help them cool off and have fun together. Shelly taught the mates some water games like Marco Polo and water volleyball. They used a cleaned beast organ that had a ball shape.

Molly ended up having her estrous cycle after a few days of receiving the flame fruits from her flying beastmen admirers. She accepted the Albatross and the Hawk beastmen. Next, she accepted Edgar to make her father happy. Shelly felt good that Molly had strong males that could protect her so she wouldn't have to suffer like in the book. She had broken the news to Molly on one of their outings with Molly's new flying beastmen mates. Albert flew her to a secluded waterfall with Molly and her flying mates following. They had a lovely picnic with fruits and nuts the males found.

Shelly said, "Indigo found a fox female mate when we went to the fox village. The Fox chief had used a plant that caused everyone to want to mate. Luckily Albert was there to save me or I might have come home with a few new fox males that I didn't know." Molly nodded, she said, "It's ok, I hope he is happy. I am happy with my mates and I get to stay in the Tiger village. My father is happy with my choices but I do wish I could have seen the sea." Shelly said, "We could go on a trip to the sea. I plan to trade with Indigo and his mates. I need seaweed and kelp for some beauty treatments. We could trade some dried meat and fruits for his mate. I'm sure she will miss food from land." Molly nodded as she ate her fruit and nuts. She would get tired of eating fish all the time.

She thought she made the right choice by staying in the Tiger village with her new mates. She had moved into Edgar's tree house with the new flying beastmen. They still had their bird's nest on the cliff and had taken Molly there to mate. She liked the nest, but preferred the tree houses because that was what she grew up in and was used to them. When she gave birth to the eggs, the father beastman could use the nest to incubate the eggs. They could use the cliffs to teach the baby birds how to fly. Harvey had confirmed that Molly was pregnant with bird eggs. She would lay the eggs in about a month. Hopefully her next cub was a female cub with Edgar. That would make her father happy.

They finished the picnic and washed up in the water. The flying beastmen flew the females back to the village. Shelly went to the castle while Molly went back to her treehouse. The hot season passed and more beastmen left the City of Beasts after the first two prophecies came true. They had already survived a flood and drought and didn't want to stick around for the destruction of the city. Some of the beastmen made it to the Tiger village. Winston allowed them to move in as long as they would accept the laws and not be a threat to Shelly.

The new beastmen were apologetic towards Shelly and said the Ape king tricked them. They did not think she was a doombringer, but the saver of their beast world. Shelly didn't want them to worship her, so she just told them she was only a messenger. They still thought of her as a heavenly being. Winston helped keep new admirers away and inlisted them as guards instead. One of the leopard beastmen told Harvey about Parker's new mate called Bai. She had a 4 striped Snake beastman mate. Shelly was happy to hear Bai made it into the story. Hopefully she could avoid some troubles with Shelly's "prophecy". Shelly would gladly accept them if they showed up in the Tiger village. Bai was one of the main reasons the Beast world advanced from the Stone age into the Bronze age.

Plus, it was always good to have more 4 striped beastmen to protect the village. Curtis would not be a threat to them as long as Bai was happy. Shelly told Winston to keep an eye out for them and to allow them into the city if they showed up. She told him about all of the advancements Bai could bring. Parker was also handy with tools and was like an engineer.

If they followed the book, Bai would go to the peacock village and then the sea before she ended up in the Tiger Village close to winter. They still had a few months to go. Shelly felt safer now that the scorpions and rootless beasts were no longer a threat. They had sent flying beastmen to scout the city to make sure it was really gone. They were able to confirm it. The mines had collapsed and killed the Scorpion king and his father. Shelly was glad they would not cause any more trouble. Maybe they would find peace in the afterlife.

The crops grew and were ready to be harvested. Shelly showed the males how to pound the rice to separate the husks from the rice. They were all grateful. She had shown them how to farm more efficiently and they didn't have to risk their lives waiting outside all day in the hot sun. The nets helped to guard against small birds while the scare crows helped a little. Shelly was able to show them new recipes with rice and wheat. She knew Bai would show them more when she came to the village. Shelly was excited. She could make some sticky rice with coconut milk and honey. It was the first real desert she had in the beast world. The flying beastmen became more popular with the females because they could retrieve the coconuts faster than the land beastmen.

Soon other beastmen came from surrounding villages including sheep beastmen. They were very good at farming and strong enough to stay outside all day without getting faint. Shelly told Winston to welcome them and give them respect. She knew how useful they could be. She was also excited to have access to wool! It would come in handy in the winter months.

One of the Ram beastmen took a fancy to Shelly when she came to discuss trading wool for knowledge and respect. Shelly told the Ram chief, "I can teach you how to use the wool to make clothing the females would love. I can even teach you how to dye the wool into pretty colors to help attract a mate." The Ram chief agreed and was impressed with how Shelly showed interest and respect for them. As plant eaters they were usually looked down upon by the meat eaters. They were the prey scared of the predators. Winston told them about the no rootless beast law and they became even more excited. They didn't have to worry about being abandoned. Dying was part of life, so they did not fear death. They only feared being abandoned.

Winston held a banquet to welcome all the new beastmen and females. Shelly introduced them to the music she had taught the females. A lot of the males had their own drums and joined in with the music. The new beastmen and females liked this village. It had so many fun things and good food! Shelly felt good with all of the things she introduced to the beast world. It would be a little bit more peaceful.

Bai showed up with Curtis and Parker when it started to get cold. Alva followed them even though Bai told him she would never accept him. Muir had tried to kill Curtis and was cast out. With no City of Flames, he found his way to a nearby village and found a healer for his broken wing. Shelly welcomed them into the city and allowed them to settle in her old treehouse. The village was growing so fast. They needed to build more houses.

Shelly told Bai, "I am so glad you made it here. I have been waiting for you. I'm glad you met your fated mates." She told Bai about her secret of being from Earth. Bai felt glad to have someone to share her secret with and became good friends with Shelly. Shelly introduced her to Molly and a few others from the village. She knew the Village would only get better with Bai there. She thought, this is about to get really fun!
