"Stop!"
"Alicia , what's wrong with you, why would you interrupt the process"
"this is all wrong, this couple shouldn't be adopting matilda, she's a wicked girl"
"Alicia!"
"Sr Janet, she locked me in the dressing room and I couldn't get to be among those in line for adoption, she planned all this"
Matilda came forward and turned to Alicia.
"Alicia, you can't prove I did it because I know I didn't"
"I have evidence, a witness to be specific"
Alicia pointed to the boy who was standing at the door but no one could see him, they thought she was making jest of the matter.
"Alicia, there's no one there"
"there is, look at him"
she turned and didn't the boy again.
"Alli are you sick perhaps you have a fever and it's causing you to hallucinate because there is no boy and I didn't lock you in the dressing room"
"he was just here, I'm telling the truth"
Sr Janet turned to the couple and apologized.
"I'm sorry, you know how children are they let their imagination get the best of them, please do not take your anger out on a little child"
"don't worry, we know she's didn't mean it"
"I'm not making things up and it's definitely not my imagination, she's evil"
"Alicia!"
Sr Janet angrily shouted and glared at her, she got the message and immediately turned to the couple and apologized.
"I'm sorry for causing trouble, it wasn't my place to say this, I'll take my leave now"
she turned to leave and matilda ran to her and whispered in her ear
"you'll try to mind your business next time and don't ever mess with me, this is just a warning"
"you planned this, I knew it"
Matilda held her hands and started crying.
"*sob* Alli you are my good friend why did you try to frame, you were jealous of me getting all the attention so you tried to frame me but since I have a sincere heart I'll forgive"
she grinned and hugged alicia and went to her foster parents.
"Matilda are you forgetting anything"
"no, I have my stuff and bid farewell to my friends"
"Ok, let's go we'll leave town first thing in the morning and take you to the city where you start living"
Matilda and her foster parents entered the car and drove off. Sr Janet warned alicia never to behave rudely in front of guest and was sent to her room to reflect on her actions.
Alicia barged into her room and fell on the bed burying her head in her pillow, she was crying endlessly. She heard a knock on her door and the boy from before answered, she was very angry at him and opened the door.
"where did you go, you disgraced me in front of everyone and now they think I'm a lier"
"I wanted to testify but matilda glared at me and I was scared at what she would do to me so I ran out"
"thanks for everything, I now know I shouldn't rely on people that much"
"I'm really sorry alli, please forgive me, your the first friend I had since I came here so please don't be angry at me"
"it take time for to calm down but I forgive you since it wasn't intentional"

he notices blood on the floor.
"Alli, your bleeding"
"ah, that must be from when I fell"
"I'll go get a first aid kit"
"ok, I'll just sit here"
the boy went to the infirmary and got the first aid kit and went back to alicia's room.
"thank you, by the way I never asked you your name"
"it's Oscar"
"Oscar, mine is Alicia but you already know that"
"I'm done"
"wow, you have magic hands it's as if you almost healed it"
"no, I don't"
" anyway, thanks to you I'm all better"
"Alli, what's that on your face"
she touches her cheek.
"Sr Janet hit but don't worry"
"why did she hit you"
"I stepped out of my boundary, I'm the one in the wrong so I deserve this"
"I'm sorry, if I had talked none of this would have happened"
"don't worry I'll be fine, please leave I want to sleep"
"ok, sleep well"
Oscar left the and walked down the hallway to Sr Janet room, she was laying sound asleep, he put his hand over her head and muttered a few words and left the room but no one saw him go in or come out.
The next morning, everyone woke to see Sr Janet very ill, the sisters were worried and confused. she was hale and hearty yesterday and now she's sick, what could be the cause. The children very sad at what had happened to Sr Janet including alicia. Sr Ann was her favorite and she respected Sr Janet as well.
She met Oscar on her way to the dinning hall and told him about Sr Janet illness, she felt really bad for her.
"I thought you hated her"
"because she scolded me once doesn't mean I hate her, I know she did it for my own good, I never for anything to happen to her"
"So she isn't a bad sister"
"not at all"
"(I screwed up) let's go eat breakfast"
They are breakfast and went outside to play but none of the children wanted to play with her, she came over to a group of kids and matilda's minion stood up to her.
"look, if it isn't the cursed child"
"Bethany stop calling me that"
"why wouldn't I, you almost made us homeless and now you made Sr Janet sick, what should I call you"
"I'm not a cursed child and it was not my fault all those things happened"
"so, your trying to say they were all a coincidence"
"yes they were"
"just go away alicia, no one want you here"
Bethany went back to her group of friends while alicia went back to her room, she felt sad and occupied herself by reading books then Oscar came inside.
"How did you get in?"
"Oh, I knocked but you didn't hear me so I just entered"
"(I thought I locked the door) Oscar please wait until I answer don't just barge in"
"ok, anyways what are you doing"
"I'm reading"
"let me have a look"
"it's pretty hard to read so I'm here to help you if you don't understand"
" and they discovered a new hinterland"
"what! how can you pronounce that!"
"what, you mean hinterland"
"yes, it's so difficult for me"
"I thought you knew big words"
"I'm still a kid, there some words I can't pronounce"

"just wait, I have to go somewhere"
Alicia ran to get some more difficult books and Oscar read them with ease, she was amazed at such a talented child he was, she went out of her room again but didn't go to get more books she went to Sr Ann room.
"Sr Ann! Sr Ann!"
"Yes Alli"
"I made a new friend"
"you make lots of friends"
"no, this one is really special"
"what do you mean"
"he's an exceptional child, he can read so many difficult books with ease"
"where is he, I would like to meet him"
"he's in my room"
Alicia led Sr Ann to her room and opened the door immediately, she pointed at Oscar who was sitting at the table reading a book but Sr Ann couldn't see him.
"Sr Ann, he's sitting at the table"
"Where? I can't see anyone"
"he's over there"
"Alli, no one is there"
"but I can see him, he's reading a book and is staring at us"
"Alli, no one's there come let's go"
"but I'm telling the truth"
"Alli, it's good to make imaginary friends but some times it's good to make real friends too"
"yes, Sr Ann"
"good girl, go and continue reading"
Alicia went back to her room wondering why Sr Ann couldn't see Oscar, he was right in front of her or was Sr Ann was pretending not to see him.
"Oscar, why couldn't Sr Ann see you but more importantly who are you?"
"I knew this day would come but I never knew it would come this fast"
Oscar flicked his finger and the door was locked and the windows were shut but Alicia didn't move a bit, she wasn't at the very least afraid.
