Chapter 2 - Chapter 1 - Time

Now that I got my answer, how will I do this?

Moving at the speed of light is nearly impossible for a human being.

Well, I don't have the body of a human being hence. I might be able to withstand the pressure, speed, and gravity.

I tried moving my hand slowly, but I was unbeknownst that it moved so fast that it was an afterimage to my blurry eyes, 'what the fuck was that.'

I moved my legs aligned to jumping, and I suddenly flew upward. I got caught by surprise. I stopped myself by using my hand and placing it above my head stopping. The force that brought me upwards.

I looked at my surroundings and saw beneath me. The whole solar system, 'that force made me fly until I was on the outer edge of the solar system'.

I saw a cloud of rocks or the Oort cloud.

How fast did I move? To be able reach this area in mere seconds, this area is approximately 9 - 10 trillion away from Earth.

Did that mean I moved above light speed? I was able to move to something that no living being could be able to. But how is that possible?

What is faster than light?

Wait.

If I moved faster than light, then what happened to time?

Did it speed up?

I turned my whole body towards Earth and pushed myself forward.

Using my whole body, I stopped myself from moving further as I arrived at my destination.

I slowly moved forward toward my home planet. As I was getting close to it an invisible barrier stopped me from moving further. I was stuck in the Exosphere. I couldn't move any further.

No… no!

I tried punching the invisible barrier, but I was met with nothing. Even after. I punched it. Thoroughly there was no response. The barrier did not break nor show any sign of breaking.

It was just there.

Not visible to the human eye.

Tears percolate out of my eyes as they run down my cheeks and fall into the barrier.

I watched the tear fall from my eyes into the visible barrier, the lone tear spread throughout the barrier. 'So, not even my tears could pass through this.'

I stayed in front of the barrier, hoping. That it would open and let me in.

I have been floating here for like 24 hours here in Exosphere. I looked back down again and saw Asia. The Earth. Already rotated, meaning I have been here a whole day.

With a sigh, I got up from my position, and experimented with some things. I readied myself. I positioned my hand beside my waist and straightened my feet.

I brought my feet up until they hit the back of my thighs. I closed my eyes, and with all the force, I crammed in my feet. I shot forward.

I then shifted my whole body to my left. My plan was to try to rotate on Earth, and I'll try to see if time moved on it if. I turned my head toward Earth while it was blurry, but I still could see that it ceased rotating. Ergo that time stopped on Earth, not just Earth. The whole universe stopped moving as I travelled.

I smiled at this revelation.

As I was circling, Earth's white line appeared in my sight. Cracks materialized around me, and my eyes widened.

I looked back at my hand and saw that it was turning into an orb. Particle by particle, my arm gyrates into an atom.

The world around me turned white.

Then it turned black again.

I looked around and saw that the 'universe' around me now, turned into a void. Not a single life of stars, planets, and black holes was visible.

I started panicking.

I felt cold as the sun that was heating my body was now gone.

Suddenly.

White pebbles of light precipitously appeared around me.

A single thought came to my head.

Breathtaking.

The universe around me crystallized. Planets reformed atom by atom.

What happened?

I looked at the planets again and saw that it was not Earth. Panicked once again hit me. The planets. Here was new to me.

The star that's heating my body from the cold space is not the sun. It was something grandiose. And hotter.

How did I travel? I was merely circling Earth.

I was trying to come up with an answer when I heard a voice inside my head. My own voice said.

'Wormhole.'

Then unbeknownst to me. By how fast I was going, I opened/made a Wormhole into life. I travelled into another Galaxy.

Or, for worse, another Universe. If the multiverse theory is true and I travel to another Universe. By how fast I was going.

This changes a lot of things, but.

I hoped that I merely travelled in another Galaxy, not another Universe.

I knew I was moving at the speed of FTL (Faster-than-light.)

I then approached the planet in front of me, and unlike the last instance, I was not halted by a barrier.

I was able to come to this planet.

Clouds shield the ground of the planet. I passed through the clouds, and what I saw amazed me.

There was a civilization living on this planet, trees were visible, and I looked to my right and saw a prodigious ocean.

Finally, closer to the ground. I saw the beings here were far more futuristic than Humans.

And their appearance looked substantially different from us Humans. Their ears were as long as the elves in our fairy tale books.

Their eyes were either full shades of black or blue. A chip was in their chest, and one of the beings passed by me and pressed their own chip.

A hologram appeared in front of him, and he was typing something that I couldn't understand.

Of course, I can't.

They are not like us Humans. What a moron I am. I was so engrossed in this realm that I lost all sense of time.

The epoch between this planet and Earth in time. Is one minute here equivalent to one year on Earth?

Calculating the duration of this planet, as the people named it. I was fortunate that this planet was dependent on numbers as well.

I also found out the time of the planet. They called this Essence.

It takes 24 hours, 37 minutes, and 22 seconds for this planet to rotate on the x-axis. I flew into space again and looked at the alignment of the planets.

Since Essence was in the fourth row of the star they are circling, it takes 687 Earth days for Essence to conduct one full cycle of the sun.

So the day here is 40 minutes longer than on Earth. I watched the beings here do their daily task. It was nothing surprising. They do stuff like a human would do.

After a day, I decided it was time to go.

I jumped upwards and controlled my speed. I felt the breeze of wind hitting my face as I slowly hover in the sky.

Nearing the edge of the planet. I looked back down again and saw someone waving to me.

My whole body froze, but when I tried going back down. But something stopped me. It was the same barrier that protected Earth.
