Chereads / Quest from God / Chapter 37 - 'The human mage' and the 'King of the night'

Chapter 37 - 'The human mage' and the 'King of the night'

Back to Krishna's side.

Tatsuya finally stabbed Krishna with his katana and looked at him as if looking at an inferior being.

"You should have stayed in your world."

"It seems like one of Miss Scathach's Disciples is about to be eliminated."

"Sigh even if she is powerful but humans are humans even with this good a teacher he still is a cattle."

Krishna who was on his knees with a Katan in his chest looked at Tatsuya smirker and pointed two fingers first at him then towards the left.

Tatsuya and the crowd looked over there and saw I throne made of mana and on it was Krishna still just as he entered the arena ..... the throne was in the same spot that Krishna had landed on.

Krishna was sitting on it like a bored king with his hand on the armrest supporting his chin.

He sits up straight and smirks, "Are you done swinging that toy around"

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA" Scathach's maniacal laugh resounded in the arena.

The crowd, Tatsuya and even Einer who were stunned looking at Krishna snapped out of it.

"Now bow down to this cattle little cuck" Krishna left eye shined blue brightly which could be seen through the aviator.

A dense pressure descended on Tatsuya who just fell to the ground face first while the ground around him also started getting lower than the rest of the arena.

Krishna looked up at the crowd and smiled showing all his teeth, "Keep looking!"

slowly but surely the ground along with Tatsuya was going down.... Tatsuya's bones cracked which could be heard by any powerful vampire.

"TATSUYA!" A worried Victoria screamed in her room, Krishna too heard it.

'I am too kind to these egomaniacs.'

"Get up and fight, your mother is worried." Krishna said as he lifted the pressure around Tatsuya.

In all this, only a few had realized that a human male was Using Magic!!!!!

"What are you using...what is your power." Tatsuya asked as he got up and pulled his katana out of the ground.

"What does it matter to you, Just use your best move so I can end this..... the moment you looked down on me I lost all respect for you as a warrior."

"...." Tatsuya just closed his eyes and focused

"One hit, one kill..." He muttered, and then he was gone.

Exceeding the speed he showed before, he flew towards Krishna.

Tatsuya at this moment appears in front Krishna:

"Rairyū no Zangeki."

This time, the speed with which he drew the Katana from its scabbard was so fast that few could see what he did.

Yet all that happened was.... nothing absolutely nothing.

The Katana was stuck in the air as if Tatsuya was just showing it to people yet the expression on his face showed that he was using his full strength. Lightning was around the blade yet it could not escape whatsoever was binding the katana.

Krishna who was still sitting, got up"You have lost all respect and are not even worthy of touching the dust of my shoes... now get the hell out of my sights."

Krishna kicked the blade which broke it and then the kick hit Tatsuya in the chest which sent him flying faster than he came here and he lost consciousness.

Krishna sat back down with an annoyed face and waited for Victor's fight to be over.

"Did he overdo it??" Ruby said

"What would you do if a werewolf called you a lowly being" Siena asked her own question.

"I understand"

Scathach just smiled and looked at Victor who had played around with Einer for a bit showing off his powers of the 3 count clans and finished it off with a big ass stake of ice combined with lighting and fire.

"I... haven't... lost... the fight yet," Einer said, he looked quite tired, and his transformation had already been undone.

Tatsuya leaned on his Katana and got up too.

The two look at Victor and Krishna with the intention of continuing the fight.

"Oh...?" Victor's eyes gleamed in admiration, and he displayed a small satisfied smile. Then, slowly, that smile grew, and he spoke with a big happy smile:

"I like both of you!"

"Eh?" Tatsuya and Einer didn't understand.

Krishna just removed his aviator and rubbed his nose bridge(you know the usual annoyed cliche).

"Pfft... HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Scathach was laughing a lot. She somehow remembered her past, she remembers doing the same thing when she was younger. It's a unique feeling when you meet a strong warrior... Wrong, the correct word would be 'rival'.

'Although, these two boys are still far from my disciple's level~, but they have talent... Mainly that boy from Clan Horseman.'

Scathach judged the two to be gifted vampires. Tatsuya has a very peculiar Katana-based martial art, and he has a strange power of illusion, not to mention that he also has the powers of Clan Fulger.

Einer, despite being young, could already access the vampire count form and even seemed to have a lot of control over his power in this form, although he still has stamina issues.

"...Hmm?" Realizing what he said, Victor corrected himself, "Oh, don't look at me like that. I like women, and I'm married too."

"What!?" This time it was the female vampires in the audience who screamed. A young vampire so strong and with excellent connections!? It's the dream of every female vampire who doesn't have much status.

Not to mention that Victor is a baby! These women's Shota instincts were screaming to eat him.

Krishna looked up and saw more or less 100 200 women just staring at Victor.

'Goddam those are some thirsty bitches'

The thing that Krishna did not see was that there were 100-200 who were looking at him too. He had proved himself a valuable being to be either converted or recruited.... buttttt.

Even Scathach felt a little annoyed when he heard the female vampires in the audience talking about Krishna; 'They think they can do whatever they want with my disciple!? Ha! Looks like some female vampires are going to disappear today.'

Five killing intents began to leak from the VIP room towards the audience, and it made the female vampires scream in fear... Wait, five!?

"Father...Uncle..... Are mine."

"…" No one knew how to react to Ophis' words except Violet.

"Bit-... Kid, go grow up first! You are too young! or just go after Krishna and leave my darling alone!" Violet was going to insult Ophis, but realizing it was inappropriate to say that to a child, she quickly changed what she was going to say.

A small vein popped in Ophis' head, "Both....are mine..."

"Huuuh!?" Violet's eyes glowed blood red.

***************

"Oh..." Tatsuya and Einer sighed a little when they heard Victor's words.

"Although I really want to continue our fight."

"!!!" They were surprised to hear Victor's voice beside them.

"You are in no condition to fight, and I won't have fun like that." Victor brings both of his hands toward Tatsuya and Einer's forehead.

"See you in the future... Einer, and Tatsuya~."

"Wh"

Soon He finger-flicked their foreheads.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

A small explosion happened, and the two flew toward the wall completely unconscious.

The referee appeared beside the two and assessed them. Then, seeing that the two were not in a position to continue, he raises his hand and says:

"The winners are! ..."

"Victor Walker! and Krishna Godkill!"

"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

The audience roared excitedly as they clapped their hands.

A few hours later, in a meeting room.

Countess Scathach Scarlett, Victoria Rider, and Count Niklaus Horseman were present.

Next to them was the director of the arena.

"Then? What happens to our game." Victoria asked with a neutral look.

"My disciples won, so our reward is what I said at the previous meeting."

"I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about my game against this old man." She pointed to Niklaus, who was a little way off.

"Oh, that's your problem." Scathach exhibited a small smile.

"..." Victoria's face shook a little.

Scathach elaborated a little, "From the beginning, I had made it clear; the fight that will take place against my disciples is another completely separate game. The fight against my disciples has nothing to do with your game. You're the one who didn't pay attention."

"So, this fight was futile?" Victoria spoke.

"For you guys? Yes. But for my disciples? Of course not, since they can finally loosen up a bit."

"…" Victoria was feeling cheated now, but she knew Scathach was right. From the start, she never said she would meddle in their game.

What happened was basically her interfering in the fight between two Clans just so her disciples could 'let go' a little.

They fought for nothing!

Irrational! This woman is very irrational! She just casually interfered with the fighting of other clans just for her disciples to have fun! Hateful woman!

Victoria was freaking out internally, but she didn't dare say it out loud.

Niklaus was thinking a little differently; 'Not everything was useless... My son learned from this fight, it was a shame he failed, but unlike before, this situation was not in his control.' He wasn't an irrational man; he was just very strict.

And they were able to discover the existence of Krishna and Victor, which in itself changes a lot...

"Are we done? I have to go now~. Enjoy the game." Scathach got up and walked towards the exit.

"Countess Scathach Scarlett." Niklaus looked at Scathach.

Scathach turned and looked at the man.

"Who are those boys?"

Scathach exhibited a small smile, "He's my son-in-law and his Brother."

"What..." Victoria opened her mouth in shock, she never thought she would live long enough to hear those words from Scathach's mouth. After all, she knows this woman's stories, she knows she wouldn't accept an 'ordinary man' ' to be her daughter's husband.

Ending the conversation, Scathach soon left the room.

"..." A moment of silence fell in the room, the two Clan leaders were thinking about their next move, but before that, they needed to resolve this situation.

"Are you going to continue the bet?"

"...No..." Victoria replied after thinking for a moment, "The situation has changed." She gets up and walks towards the exit.

"So we decided this as a tie?"

"Yes. It's fine by me." She spoke as soon as she opened the door and left the room.

Victoria didn't give up on her ambitions, she just backed off... Victor's existence and his connection to the three great vampire clans can bring about many changes, and she doesn't want to make another rash decision like she did now.

Niklaus looked at the arena director for a few seconds, but soon he got up and left the arena too.

The arena director displayed a small smile as the guests left his room, "Did you send it to the king?"

"Yes." A man wearing an all-black outfit with a mask on his face appeared behind the director.

"Good. I wonder what his reaction was…." The man smiled a little.

"... If I may say so."

"Oh?"

"The king is angry..."

"This is rare. He rarely displays emotions even to his subordinates. Was he angry with the fight?"

"It didn't look like he was angry about the fight."

"Hmm... Something that might annoy the king... His daughters, I think?"

"I do not know. I'm just his eyes and ears." Soon he disappears.

"... I know." The man exhibited a smile.

{The next day}

Victor went to Einar's house while Krishna went to Tatsuya's house.

When Krishna entered the mansion he used stealth spells with his high speed which made it impossible for anyone to see or sense him and any detection spells were just for physical detection.... no magic detection spells were used in security.

Krishna walked up to a room where he could sense there was someone and opened the door to find Victoria who was in a bath towel just out of a shower.

As soon as Krishna opened the door the bath towel fell.

'Fate works in mysterious ways doesn't it.'

[Host your fate is mysterious only when it comes to women.....]

Nod

"Wha.....what are you doing here" Victoria asked in a stable voice, she wasn't a little girl either who would scream when a man saw her naked body... she was also a little angry at the reaction

As a woman of high status, she would usually order this man killed. Or, she would personally kill the man who saw her naked body without permission, but that is impossible to do with this man.

"I came to meet that boy but he seems to be not in this mansion."

"OHH secret room for your precious boy... understandable."

Krishna once again nodded at Victoria and went on ahead to the wall and some strange circles of mana with some weird language appeared.

'He can use spells as well!! his worth just keeps on increasing but he is still connected to that woman....not to forget his own strength.'

Krishna goes down the stairs to see Tatsuya lying on the bed and a woman in a witch's outfit standing next to him.

"Hello, arrogant yet weak boy how are you now."

"Ugh... can't you just let that go"

"Sure but you better remember it..... you had disrespected me in front of a whole society"

"And then you made a mockery of me!!"

"so..... what you gonna do whine about it to you sugar mommy here."

"....."

"Haha~" Hecate chuckled gently as she covered her mouth.

"What?" Tatsuya looked at the woman.

"Nothing. It's just funny to see someone generally cold have so much trouble with someone."

"…" Tatsuya didn't know how to react to Hecate's words. In the end, he just sighed.

"Get up now and move out of your mother's room you baby"

Tatsuya had no argument for that so he used his right to remain silent

In a ridiculously large room, Krishna, Tatsuya, Victoria, and Hecate were present.

Krishna was sitting on an chair with a small smile on his face.

Tatsuya was sitting in a chair some distance away, drinking a red liquid from a wine glass.

Hecate was beside Krishna looking at the symbols on his glove, she had a curious look on her face.

"If you wish to understand them, you need to understand the fine symbols in the symbols and to do that you need to know the language that I used and to do that you need my permission since I used it after creating each and every symbol." Krishna smirked while Hecate looked at him in shock.

"I'm sorry, Lady Victoria!" Several vampires were kneeling towards Victoria, who was sitting on a couch.

Victoria had an annoyed look on her face, she paid dearly to keep her house safe, and a random Human managed to break into her home and enter her room without anyone knowing!

Bunch of useless! I will lower their wages!

She was more irritated with Victor! He just casually walked into her house like he owned the place, saw her the way she came into the world, and then completely ignored her! Hateful man!

"Whatever... Just don't repeat it-." Victoria would continue to lecture her subordinates, but suddenly she heard Krishna's voice.

"Your subordinates are useless."

"Huh?" The subordinates were surprised by Krishna's sudden voice.

"What are you saying, Kid!?"

"We are not useless!"

Krishna just sighed and looked up.

"Hello" He smirked as he greeted the vampires on the ceiling.

Tatsuya's eyes turned cold, and he quickly rose from his chair.

"You have wayyyy too many spies just sitting in your home." Krishna said as he looked at Victoria.

"Hecate!" Victoria ignored Krishna and quickly gave the witch the command.

"Yes." Hecate raises her hands, and soon several magic circles begin to appear around the mansion.

"Oh?" Krishna's eyes sparkled with curiosity and he starts to save those Circles in his brain.

The shadows that were in the mansion quickly began to flee when they realized they had been compromised by Victor.

But some were not so lucky, as the walls of Victoria's mansion began to move as if alive.

"Tsk. Some fled." Hecate did her best to capture everyone, but she wasn't a fighting witch.

"..." Sensing the enemies' speed, Tatsuya understood that he couldn't catch them all alone, so he looked at Victor:

"...Hey, my friend." Tatsuya felt awkward saying the word 'friend'.

"Hmm?" Krishna looked at Tatsuya with a curious look.

"Help me deal with these bugs..." Tatsuya felt that he would regret his following words"I will owe you one"

"You already owe me one this would be the second but ok.... so how do you want them, alive or dead?"

"Alive."

"Ok"

Suddenly all the Vampire that had gone out were pulled back in with seemingly nothing but Hecate could fell that pure mana was being used with a stealth spell on it.

Victor looked at Victoria's subordinates and ordered in a cold tone, "Go do your job."

"!!!" The subordinates quickly waved as if they were part of the army.

"Yes, Sir!"

"..." Victoria had never seen her subordinates so scared in her life.

Sigh...

She was feeling tired, so she sat down on the couch again and looked at Victor, who had another small smile on his face; 'He's my niece's husband's Brother, huh?' Then, suddenly, she realized something.

She just realized they're related even though pretty far. Maybe that's a good thing? After all, having a strong relative is always welcome, and he doesn't seem to be prejudiced against her like the rest of her family, although that could change in the future if he discovers her secret.

But... She felt that Krishna wouldn't mind. He didn't seem like a man who cared about little things.

Sigh...

She sighed again, she just wanted to lie down on the bed and not think about anything right now, she had so many things to do! Especially now that she found out her mansion was compromised. But for some reason, she didn't want to do anything today.

"Mother, are you alright?" Tatsuya asked worriedly.

"Yes, I'm just a little tired."

"You don't have the Fulger clan's power do you."

Victoria looks at Krishna wide-eyed but then calms down and looks dejected.

"Don't worry it does not matter to me but this was the only conclusion as to why a smart and gorgeous woman like you was not part of the Fulger clan and why you were hiding Tatsuya's powers."

"Yes it's true I do not posses the signature power of electricity that is in Fluger clan so I made my own Identity."

"And that is why I want you to go on a date with me!"
