Chereads / STRIFE: A Life and Death Tale / Chapter 157 - 157.) Doc-Martin.

Chapter 157 - 157.) Doc-Martin.

On the outer kusp of the House of Beel's territory sat the likes of Zolib'Omen, Doc-Martin, and Myne. They were fighting a Dim-Ones member and his partner. The battle has grown fierce thanks to the Dim-Ones and their unprecedented might. Their forces alone kept every single Rebel Captain, STRIFE Captain, and even the Mergers and Fusions busy in an over the top brawl.

Doc-Martin and Myne took off into the deep cosmos, leaving the confines of the House of Beel's territory. The hefty god from the Dim-Ones stared as they ascended at what could easily be more than twenty times the speed of light. He prepared to blast off, but was sent flying upwards instead. He had taken a powerful kick from Zolib'Omen himself.

Zolib'Omen: "Hehe, blast off, Triharty."

He bowed before vanishing into the distance.

Triharty had met with Doc-Martin and Myne in a mere second. He stared into the eyes of Doc-Martin before eating a kick to the stomach from Myne. Plus a haymaker to the jaw from Doc-Martin. His body was shifted in a way as he was stuck in an animated state. Doc-Martin and Myne were quick to pick up on this, and a flurry with their elements wrapped around their limbs was quick to follow. Triharty found himself between the two as he was bombarded by every combo conceivable.

His irritation grew with every passing moment until It erupted in an explosive, and sudden counterattack.

Doc-Martin: "Damn… he didn't even let three seconds pass us by! On the defensive MYNE!!" *FOOMM*

He blocks an attack from his twelve, forming an 'X' guard just before contact is made. Myne has to do the same but both were blown away anyway. Triharty tore his garments to shreds, revealing his scarred and battered, ripped dad-like body. Teens of today would call this 'Grown-man Strength'. Triharty smiled widely before jumping into the upper cosmos and going into a comet-like dropkick into Zolib'Omen as he approached.

*BLOWW*

Zolib'Omen was stopped in his tracks, looking up as the robust god before him went into another flip. One that quickly turned into a rotating drop kick that forced Zolib'Omen to fly as well.

Zolib'Omen: "Tch… he really is one of the warriors within the 60s for the scale. Dammit all! What an annoying-"

Myne: "Opponent you'll be-"

Doc-Martin: "Triharty the Cannon-Fist."

Triharty: "Hm!! You have some nerve to state that, when I have to deal with you two and Doc-Martin the actor." *Glare*

He stares at Doc-Martin as he resets himself.

Doc-Martin: "Tch… how did you- *Gasp* Damn!"

Myne: "What does he mean by that, Doc?"

Zolib'Omen: "Hm?"

Triharty wrapped a quake-like wave into his left hand. Smashing it into the false floor he created within the empty void of space. The wave spread into the outer cosmos and struck all three of his opponents at once. Zolib'Omen was the only one able to keep his footing upon receiving the brunt of the blow. He dashed forward to counter the bulky bastard. Their fists met head on at full force, creating waves of unprecedented proportions. Ones that came with an array of destruction that obliterated the entire universe, save for Myne and Doc-Martin. Zolib'Omen managed to kick Triharty away with an epic amount of force backing it.

Zolib'Omen: "Tough little fool we've got here! Allow me to unleash this attack for you, Triharty! Emerald Tsunami!!!"

A gigantic, green wave manged to engulf Triharty entirely, slightly tearing his cloth fauld as I made contact. He was suspended in a floating position as the shards from this odd water bombarded his person.

"This wave is made of nothing but micro shards of emeralds!" Triharty thought to himself as he built up a large helping of essence.

Doc-Martin: "Tsssk!! Damn him!"

Myne: "Mind telling me what's goin' on here, Doccy, dear? What does he mean when he calls you an… "Actor"?"

She leaned in over her dear friend. Staring at him with big, golden eyes full of suspicion.

Doc-Martin: "Hrmn! Tch… considering our history, Myne. I don't mind telling you this, a secret that only thine mistress has knowledge of. Speak of this to no one, Myne!"

Myne: "Will do, just fill me in, via telepathy. We've got to back up, young Zolib'Omen, he's losing ground!!" *PEW*

Doc-Martin: "Will do!" *PEW*

Whilst their battle picked up in intensity, we find ourselves taking a look into the battle between the battalions of the rebellion and the battalions of those who are Corrupted! Their many battlefields erupted with light shows as both sides clashed repeatedly. One could bear witness to Tyyoest flying into the upper atmosphere on the Beels' base territory. Raining down on his opposition with powerful summons of insects bearing different rays of heat. Leaving the enemy confused while his comrades were having any ailments they might have been affected by. The Dim-Ones were more than irritated by the development! They sat in their own irritation as they devised major counterattacks ready to tear Tyyoest and his fellow rebels a new one. Tyyoest decided to specifically aim for his brother's opponent, allowing him to come in with his own attack.

Ty'Jonn: "Appreciate the assist, brothah. Now then! Heat: Temperatures of the Blue Gas Titan!" *CLAP*

He clapped his hands together and pressed them forward.

Upon sticking his arms out in front of himself, Ty'Jonn's hands started to look as though they were touching a surface. This surface quickly turned red with a glowing, yellow center that replicated building heat. This heat quickly grew once more, now showing off blue hues where the red once was. A box then formed around more than ten enemies. All of which reigned from a high ranking House of Luminaria. Two of them happened to also be members of the Beel's 13 Dim-Ones. They frantically bring about their essence barriers in the form of Armored Zenchi. This as an attempt to both conquer and defend against this powerful assault. Ty'Jonn sat idly by with a smirk on his face. One that displayed just how confident he is.

Ty'Jonn: "Eyooo, brother Tyyoest! How about a little assistance ovah here, aye?" .

Tyyoest: "Heh, yeah I gotch- TAH!? *kaBLOOM* Tsssk, what the hell was that, mate?"

???: "Nothing too special… just a lil something to throw you and your younger brother off."

Ty'Jonn: "Hm!?

Tyyoest: "Ah, the Dim-One I thought I disabled earlier? Heh, glad to see I failed when it came to that. Now I get to offer you more! How about et… Janka-Jax Beel?"

Janka-Jax: "Taaaahahahahaaa! Saying my full name out on the battlefield is a diabolical gesture. But, yes, I'm game for this challenge of yours. Sir Tyyoest Lyster!"

Ty'Jonn: "Hmph! Well if that's the case… Rebels!!! Let's show the roasting traitaaahs what's for, yeah?!" *FWOOSH*

He opens up with his arms now spread wide apart. Exposing an odd little spider that looked almost like a literal heat signature to the naked eye, no matter the level of said naked eye.

The arachnid moved fast enough to make even the speedsters of Luminaria look slow. It dashed and maneuvered past everyone, leaving behind a heat trail and massive webbings that stuck themselves onto the bodies of Ty'Jonn's enemies. Igniting with a temperature that went well into the high hundred-thousands in Celsius. Everyone had to bring about Armored Zenchi just to withstand the brunt of the flames. This left them vulnerable for follow-up attacks from a few of the other captains and their warriors. Taking lead in many of their battles by making the most of this moment. Ty'Jonn had now successfully shifted the tide of battle in their favor.

???: "What a kerfuffle of tomfoolery from these "Rebels". Only prolonging their inevitable end at the hands of we who see a brighter future for the clan."

A man wearing an all black armor set that made him look like a noble executioner with a black hood piece over his head and face. He used a heavy halberd as his main weapon. Spinning it about above his head, creating a foul tornado of light and slashing winds. It canceled out the webs created by the Heat Arachnid that Ty'Jonn made use of. This caught Ty'Jonn's attention and raised a new possibility for a head to head fight.

Ty'Jonn: "Seems we have ourselves a powerful foe here. I know of your legendary feats, vice-captain, Hary'Lux "The Executioner" Beel "

Hary'Lux: "It's an honor to fight one of the most prominent Knights of our great clan. Prepare thyself, Ty'Jonn!" *Fwip* *FWIP* *Swoop*

Ty'Jonn: "Perfect! Shimmers… take care of these idiots surrounding their vice-captain. This is between he and I now."

Shimmers: "WILL DO, SIR!!"

Hary'Lux: "Hehe, this is quite the exciting turn of events!"

The 5 Shimmers dashed at the remaining Dim-Ones members that were near Hary'Lux. At the same time, they kept the other powerful warriors from the corrupted houses at bay. It was now Ty'Jonn and the 5 Shimmers against Hary'Lux and his small battalion. Hary'Lux smashed the end of his halberd into the floor. Awaiting Ty'Jonn and revealing his weapon. Ty'Jonn brought his left arm to his right shoulder. Gripping the air tightly as flames came about. The flames formed into what looked like a sword, just before Ty'Jonn gripped the flame firmly and swung his left arm outwards. This motion revealed a powerful blade in the form of a rapier. A Great Rapier at that, one of which had nearly five feet to its length. The twisted, contorted-like blade was crimson red with a glowing, yellow center within the blade itself. The handle and hilt were made of light that wrapped around Ty'Jonn's hand.

"Been far too long since I've revealed this puppy here. I do hope you're a worthy enough opponent for this to have been necessary." Ty'Jonn states as he twirls his rapier by the handle.

Hary'Lux lifted his mask to reveal his smile. Conveying a clear message to Ty'Jonn in the process. "Bring it!!" , was all Ty'Jonn could hear when staring at Hary'Lux's smile.

Ty'Jonn was now on the steady path to battle. Dashing in without even a kick of hesitation being detected from his movement and intent. Hary'Lux could feel it all rushing towards him, which made him spring into action as a response. He twirled his halberd about until Ty'Jonn got into its range of attack. Smashing his Halberd downwards to block the mighty thrust of Ty'Jonn. The two mighty weapons repelled one another as their wielders got back into their respective stances. Ty'Jonn transferred light and heat to the soles of his feet, allowing him to skate on any surface. His heat was capable of burning minor concepts even at its lowest temperature, which was still breaching the low end for the hundred-thousands in fahrenheit. This style of maneuverability allowed him to freely attack Hary'Lux from all sides.

Hary'Lux: "Heh, how surprising. Never expected you to have such a noble way of fighting. Elegant couldn't begin to describe what it is I'm witnessing here!"

Ty'Jonn: "Heh, this is only the start!" *PEW*

Hary'Lux: "What!?"

He stepped back as he watches Ty'Jonn vanish.

Hary'Lux was capable of tracking speeds that step well beyond the threshold of light. Yet… Ty'Jonn was actually able to go beyond even those levels. Hary'Lux was sharp in the mind and kept calm, bringing about a dome of his Presence Zenchi to better help with tracking Ty'Jonn's movements. It took no less than half a millisecond before Ty'Jonn came crashing in with another thrust. Hary'Lux was caught by surprise, but still managed to just barely dodge the blow nonetheless. Ty'Jonn sped past him and spun about as he brought his twirling rapier above his head. His body became motionless, perfectly still, then… *PEW*

"HRGN!?" Hary'Lux grunted as he stepped out of Ty'Jonn's way. The force from Ty'Jonn's thrust made him lose balance a bit.

"Ah…" Ty'Jonn let out a small, feint breath before charging in once more. He wanted to make sure this opportunity wouldn't be missed. He flashed in once more and hit his mark, but to his surprise. Hary'Lux was able to avoid a fatal blow, turning Ty'Jonn's strike from an assured hit to a mere graze on the left shoulder. Ty'Jonn snickered a bit, setting himself back into his base stance. Wasting no time at all as he returned for another strike.

Hary'Lux: "Hm! (Ah, I can finally see it a bit.)"

He grabbed his halberd with both hands, swinging in a diagonally downward direction to meet with Ty'Jonn's Rapier head-on.

*Chi-TIINNNG*

The two blades met at full-force, repelling one another almost instantly after colliding. Both warriors slid back a bit, but were still well within range of the other. Ty'Jonn brought his rapier to his chest and went into a wild frenzy of speeding thrusts. Hary'Lux responded kindly by rotating and flipping his halberd. Clashing with and countering all of Ty'Jonn's strikes. Their essence and might began to rip the ground asunder along with the very atmosphere itself. Ty'Jonn even took things a step first by slightly boosting his speed during the harsh exchange. Little by little, Hary'Lux began to be nicked and grazed on his arms, torso, legs, and head. He was lucky that his armor could withstand such punishment.

Hary'Lux: (Tsssk!!! What a bother this is. How in the verse is he so damn fast!?) *fwip* *swish* *Woosh*

He speeds up his twirling until his weapon becomes invisible to even Ty'Jonn's eye. Then the butt of the shaft for the Halberd was shoved into the floor with the tip of Ty'Jonn's Rapier going right with it!

Ty'Jonn: "How uncanny of you, but a good move nonetheless."

Hary'Lux: "Tch! Bahstahd, you're a tricky one, Ty'Jonn!" *BOOM*

He releases a huge stir of wind and force that sends Ty'Jonn flying back a few hundred meters.

Hary'Lux: (How odd… my strike was slower than he, yet he could not see it. That must mean he is using a technique for this, and not natural speed. Niiiice, but even then… that just means he's hiding his real speed!) "Hrnm!?"

He watches as Ty'Jonn charges a ball of heat and light at the tip of his rapier. Allowing it to condense itself before he proceeds to…

Ty'Jonn: "Let's see how you handle this Hary'Lux!! Star of the War Torn Heavens!!!"

He shot the blazing ball towards Hary'Lux with the same acceleration rate as his natural movement with the odd technique. Luckily, Hary'Lux has already slightly adapted to the power and speed of this odd technique.

Hary'Lux: "Hmm… not too difficult when he isn't accelerating it. Now then… Sever!!!"

Hary'Lux slams the blade of his Halberd into the ball of essence and severs it in multiple places. Causing it to fall apart into finely chopped pieces as if it were a solid object rather than pure energy/essence. Upon dispersing from the newly cut pieces, Hary'Lux found himself unable to track Ty'Jonn. He couldn't even get a lock on his smell, but that was mainly due to the excessive smell of heat flowing into his nostrils through his helm.

"Where the hell did he go!?" Hary'Lux thought to himself.

It was at this moment that he instinctively shoved his Halberd's butt diagonally into the ground and held in place as he leaned to his right. He decided to use Mental Zenchi to see where Ty'Jonn would come from. Making sure to wait until the last moment before he could sense actual danger.

*TIINNNG*

Ty'Jonn: "Tch!? (Did he figure it out- no, no he didn't. He's just a well seasoned warrior who's been in thousands of battles!) Your instincts are nothing to scoff about, yeah?"

Hary'Lux: "Neither are yours. I can see no opening despite you being the one whose move has been stopped in its tracks. How… IMPRESSIVE!!" *SWOOSH*

Hary'Lux pushes Ty'Jonn back by swinging his Halberd outward with an extra wave of force added. Ty'Jonn slid more than half a mile out, twirling and spinning about on his left foot. Coming to a stop as he spun his rapier until it was held to his chest within his left hand. Lowering his center of gravity as he held the point of his blade out. Making sure to point it and all intent towards his seven-foot tall opponent. Hary'Lux smiled and twirled his Halberd once more, charging it full of Black Light as a wall of essence formed around him. He sped it up as he did a single spin to his right before dashing towards Ty'Jonn. Ty'Jonn didn't hesitate to match him evenly in speed, power, and timing. Their blades are now full of Presence, Armored, and Physical Zenchi. Not to mention their fully charged elemental signatures. Their blades met head on, not being allowed to touch thanks to the force emitted from them.

"HRRNGH!!!" , they both grunted as their heinous wave of violence was released.

Janka-Jax: "Tuh, what a powerful wave those two are emitting. I'd say there's a little room for tampering on my end- *Pat-pat* What the!?"

Tyyoest: "It'd be a whole lot more tolerable if you'd stop sneaking off, yeah?"

Janka-Jax: "You're a real pain, Tyyoest you know that?"

The very clan itself was shaking more than ever thanks to their reckless release of such force. Both could be seen struggling to keep their combined power in check. Or so Ty'Jonn and the rest of us would've thought. But Hary'Lux was able to struggle just enough to break free of the frozen stance he had been forced to take.

Hary'Lux: "Heh, you're now open to be hit by my Severing ability- huh!?" *Glare*

He looked down to notice thick webs attached to his legs and arms.

Ty'Jonn: "You actually thought you were the only advanced user when it comes to Mental Zenchi? How foolish of you bruv!!"

Hary'Lux: "What an odd turn of events, Ty'Jonn!!!"

Ty'Jonn: "KAH!!! Melt the Collision!"

The force of their combined might was completely dwarfed by the release of Ty'Jonn's mighty Heat-based attack. The actual force could be seen melting away into the space around them.

"Curse this heat!" Hary'Lux states as he covers up to protect himself from the heat.

In the meantime, Zolib'Omen, Myne, and Doc-Martin were being pushed back by Triharty's ridiculous amounts of essence. He was able to keep them all at bay with his Information concept. It allowed him to gain knowledge and data on those he hears the name of. This information will build up and continue to do so, so long as his opponents remain in the bubble. Allowing him to learn their weaknesses, strengths, abilities, way of fighting, and even personal information if the ability is kept going long enough. This left all three of his opponents in a bind as he could use Mental Zenchi in tandem with this ability. Allowing him to see their movements ahead of time, on top of their chosen technique with the knowledge on what it'll do and cause.

Zolib'Omen: "Damn, talk about the worst opponent to have in a battle like this!"

Myne: "It's like he knows our every move!"

Triharty: "That's because I do, Lady Myne!"

Doc-Martin: "That's because he does, Lady Myne!"

Triharty: "Hmph!?" *Glare*

Doc-Martin: "Hmph." *Smirk*

Myne: "What!? But how could one at his level have such high scaling Mental Zenchi??

Doc-Martin: "His Mental Zenchi is at the same level as yours and my own. It's his Birthright from what I can tell."

Triharty: "Hmm…"

Zolib'Omen: "His Birthright, eh?"

Doc-Martin: "You see, it was thanks to this and his Birthright that he could tell I was the hidden God known as "The Actor"."

Triharty: "So you can sense the type of essence I'm using. Rare for someone of your level to have such keen senses. And I do mean your actual level, my good sir."

Doc-Martin: "Yeah, it feels a bit lazy seeing as this wasn't foreshadowed. But a good kept secret wouldn't be, now would it?"

Myne: "Hmm… I always found your recovery speed to be odd, even when not around Light."

Zolib'Omen: "Care to explain?"

Doc-Martin: "Sure thing, but first… Release." *FWOOOM*

A sudden gust befell those around him and many of the battlefields.

Triharty: "Ah, the true Doc is out!"

Zolib'Omen: "What the-

Myne: "HELL!?"

Aurorin: "Hmph, I always knew there was another House leader ahead of me."

???: "Mhm… the actor."

His black cloak danced in the wind.

Berixan: "Ah, this is quite the wild turn of events."

Abiketh: "Indeed, Triharty and Rebecca have drawn quite the short straws here."

Billiard Sr: "It's about time!"

Lizelitte: "Ah, he's finally done it, guess I have no choice, even with my full might, this one's going to be tough! Release!"

???: "Hm? This is beyond me, you and that husband of yours are Actor and Actress, huh? No matter, you still won't be able to stop Rebecca Beel. Just try me!"

Lizelitte: "Indeed, I plan to, twerp!"

True Power Scale Level: 53

Doc-Martin: "Well then, Myne… the simple truth is that a few members of the Illuma House decided to seal our power. Then hide that sealing itself for when the time is right. But what one must know is… every member that's apart of that pact…"

Lizelitte: "All of those members are here on this battlefield."

A sudden storm of essence breached the battlefield, coming from different individual Illuma members. Doc-Martin and Lizelitte having the highest of the bunch.

Shiishii: "Woah, those Illuma folk know how to get it done!"

Noel: "Indeed!"

Doc-Martin: "Now, Myne go assist your husband, I've got this. Zolib'Omen is more than enough back up."

Myne: "Will do, but you both better make it out of this alive, got it!?" *Point*

Both: "Will do!"

Triharty: "Hmm…"

Doc-Martin: "Rightio then! Presence Zenchi!!" *FWOOOM*

Triharty: "Damn, he just broke my Info-Dome in a single flash of his Zenchi!?"

Doc-Martin spread his Zenchi about the many battlefields, piercing any and all abilities from their enemies at once. Only those above his status could cancel this out. The pierce causes whatever has been struck to dissolve as if it had been struck by acid.

Triharty: "What an impressive feat! You've single-handedly taken quite a handful of battles, and turned them in your favor. Marvelous!" *Clap* *clap* *clap*

Zolib'Omen: "This is beyond nuts!"

Doc-Martin: "I'll be stopping you here, no matter the cost!"

True Power Scale Level: 62

The battles intensify as the captains tend to their assignments. The Beels push back with a huge show of skill. Showing that not even mergers can tip the scales against them. In the midst of their show… the Illumas awaken!
