These three stages are considered to be foundation building stages for a person as these decide how much you can grow in future as more solid is your foundation more powerful you can become. Even though it doesn't appear much but most of common populace is not able to go past Star Stage.
After this state a person has to expand this star system and strengthen it , the level of strengthening determines how much mana you can store and how much can you use.
