After finishing with the teaching for the day Max returned to the gaming club with Valeria, Derek and the kids from his class that would stay for the night today. Rey and Drake got the money to pay for everyone for some time. Max was ok with that. Max did not really pay attention to what everyone else did. He was hell bent on learning alchemy. He did not want to be a smart ass and just followed the system "course". First he learned how to make health, mana and stamina potions. The health and mana potions application is pretty self explanatory.The stamina potion recovered the life force for knight apprentices and knights. The concoction process was pretty simple. He needed to chemically purify the water from other materials and get it to the ph suitable for water that is 7 that all people learn in chemistry. After that it was just heating the water to the right temperature and inputting the materials in the right way, time and order. Each potion concoction took around half an hour. Max did not used a lot of materials to make large amounts of potion to not waste money. Every session of making a potion took materials to fill flasks the potions were sold on the market. It was around 200 milliliter per potion(0.2 liter). Max wanted to learn how to make those potions in the right way. The potions, pills and pellets had four levels of quality. Low, medium, high and transcendent.
Max learned from the system that getting to the transcendent level needed more than understanding. It needed time and mastery. After getting this point Max decided to get to a high level quality as a norm for every product. Max started concocting and soon after a few tries he got a low level healing potion. Max was alright with the result until now. He continued to make the potions and they were all low level. After a few more days when Max finished and inspected the quality of the potion with the skill he learned from the alchemy course. After another low level healing potion Max started to hit the concocting table like crazy and scream: "SYSTEM WHAT THE FUCK!?!?! I am doing everything you wrote like needed and it still only a low level shit. How to improve!?!? Why it is not wrote down here? #$GF%#G#$F!"
Max started hitting the table in a hysteria attack. After getting all of his pended frustration out he waited for an answer. The only thing destroyed was the current healing potion and some materials provided by the system. All the rest was stored in the storage ring. 'If you want information you need to pay.' The system said.
Max sighed and said: "How much?"
'Ten gold coins.' The system said with a little tinge of mockery.
"E$GEW#%GW~!" Max started to scream and obliterate the alchemy room for some time. After he calmed down he said: "Alright."
'Thank you for your purchase. Ten gold coins deducted from the host.' The system said.
"What am I doing wrong?" Max asked.
'You do input the materials right but you don't try to mix the materials faster and better. It lowers the level of the final product.
"q2$GQERgEA~!!" Max started to bang the table with his hands. He was so stupid!
After he finished his little tantrum Max calmed down and started to think how he can improve the process. Max decided to just use the water magic to manipulate the water of the potion to affect the final result. He thought about where he can improve. He needed to mix some materials. Put different types of alchemical powders and mix them with the chemical mixture. Max started to make the mixes of different materials. All of those materials needed to be made into a powder level and then mixed together and than mix with the chemical materials mixed with the water. Max first made the powder in the best way he could. After that he mixed the materials in the best way he could and got the powder into the water. After that He mixed the materials in the best and fastest way possible. After making this change Max got a middle level healing potion. He got a little happy. It would be hard to get the point by himself. He still did not get the point why it was not a high level alchemical material. This continued for a few more days. Max did his best but still got only medium level healing potion so far. "sDFSDF$F$#! SYSTEM! Are you trying to steal money from me?" Max roared.
The system did not really answered to him. '10 gold coins.' Was the only thing said.
"WHAT THE FUCK!!" Max screamed. After he screamed, hit the table and cursed the system and everyone else but in the end he payed the money.
After getting the money the system said: 'You input the power in the middle of the mixing glass that he used the was in a circular shape. It does mix into the water but it don't mix at the same way for all the parts of the chemical mixture. Try to use water manipulation to make the mix totally homogenic in term of materials at every point of the mix.'
After hearing it Max remained silent. He was such a dumb ass..

He sighed and tried again. After a few times he finally got the high level healing potion. Max was satisfied. It took him a whole month to finish this stage of training. After that he practiced doing the mana and stamina potions. It took another three months to make all types of potions multiple times at a high level at a consistent way. After finishing with this he took a look at the kids. All of them were utterly dog shit in term of skill improvment except Rey and Drake. Max expected it so he did not pay much attention to this.
He also entered the fighting simulation and searched for some interesting armed skills that people could study. Soon he saw a skill called life aura. This skill gave the ability to use your life energy to wrap it around your body, body parts or weapons and it made the hit much of the part that was wrapped in life aura much stronger. The part that were encapsulated by life aura was surrounded by grey aura around it. It make for the body to be able to break boulders with no damage dealt to the person. The bad part from it was the fact that it used a lot of life energy of the body. Max tried to use it on weapons. He wrapped weapons in life aura and soon he got the fact that those ordinary weapons got to another level from encapsulating them in life aura. It made an elephant from a fly. Just like this. This skill required a high level of life energy control. It was very practical. Max could crash stone boulders with a wooden sword using this skill. Even a toothpick using this technique could become a deadly weapon. Without good foundation it was useless to try and study it. Max did not think much about it. It was generally a good skill. After gathering all the kids and telling them about this skill that they could learn at the knight apprentice levels all the commoners put envious expressions while looking at the excited Rey and Drake. Max did not think much about this skill. It was good but he thought that he would understand this sooner or later by himself. He did not think you could use the life force outside of the body. After finishing his announcement he continued practicing. He got the life aura skill quickly. The main problem with this skill was that with bad life aura level lower than first apprentice level it could not be used and bad foundation would cause the person that just wrap himself in life aura and crush himself to death by mistake. After getting this point Max decided that he will try to teach the nobles from succeeding using toothpick as a weapon. After being able to wrap it and use it as a throwing weapon he will slowly teach them how to do it with their own body. He did not want some retarded noble or commoner to blow a body part away because a lack of control or understanding of life aura. Soon the night ended and another day of learning arrived.
