Max did not even let the examiner's duo to give their opinion before he jumped into the testing ground. Max said: "Don't worry you little shit. Max was lauthing in a creepy way and it was giving the chills to Rey. He knew that he could die in a half of a move. Even the fact that Max will decrease his powers to his level did not made him feel better. He knew that master Max knew how get huge amounts of power into a hit. Jessy and James were also taken aback. 'Did he say that he will use only the power level of a second level apprentice knight?' That was what both men were thinking. Because of that they did not intefire. The academy needed teachers as well. It was something that the academy tried to make behind the scenes. It was hard to find people that had strenth and were good in teaching children. Because of that they also started to pay attention to Max as well. Maybe he will be their coulege soon.
"Master, please have mercy!" Rey pleaded but Max cut him off. "Little shit. Give it your all. If you play games you may die here. I will not hold back. Give it your all!" After that Max took out his sword and shot towards Rey. Both of them only had a sword in hand. Rey panicked and went on full defence mode. When Max attacked and Rey blocked everyone expected that Rey did a good job but Max put all of his Body weight into the attack and with the acceleration it was something pretty stupid to block head on. All those extra forces made Rey shoot like a cannon ball after the colition into one of the ceilings of the arena. The wall of the ceiling was broken with a huge rumble. The wall fallen on Rey and most of the audience went quite. Most of them were sure the kid was dead. James and Jessy were gloomy as well. Such a prodigy died just like that.
After a short time of waiting Max said: "What the fuck are you hiding inside. If you wont get out I will hit you harder. Use your brain. You little ape. I am heavier. You should not let me use my advantages. Its ok if you fight like an animal. At least do it right. Now fight. Show me that I did not waste my time with you. COME ON!!!!"
After he finished a shadow shot out of the rubble and went with a great speed in the direction of Max. The kid was wielding a sword in a strange way, but he had a sharp and focused look. After that there was a fierce fight. Most of the people did not really understand how the kid did not die and how he fought like he did. It felt like he was escaping death by instinct. Max was showing the definition of classical swordsmanship. He did not really try to push the kid over the limit, but Rey was always under pressure and when he got too relaxed, he was almost instantly sent flying to one of the walls of the arena. The amount of damage that this kid took was very impressive. A lot of ordinary kids would have died a few times already. Both James and Jessy were impressed by the duo. The kid was a true warrior. Even a little monster. Max was even more impressive. He was getting the kid to fight on the edge. It was not an easy to achieve something like that. He felt the kid really well. After a couple of minutes of beating Max got a little more relaxed and said: "Alright little shit. You pass. You are not that bad. Keep working hard or next time you just die during my next test. Now go and treat your injuries." After that Max shood the kid away and got to the testers due and said: "Sorry guys I lost my shit. This kid can do so much more but he doesn't want to fight on the edge and improve but take the easy win and I don't like it. If he takes the easy way, he will not grow so I had to shake him up."
After that he wanted to leave but Jessy and James halted him. "Excuse me Sir? What is your name? Are you the master of this kid? Did you say you decreased your power level to the second level of knight apprentice? Sorry for the impolite questions but we are also looking for teachers in the academy. It is hard to find good teachers that could teach the next generation. Are you may be interested?" James asked.
Max was taken aback. After thinking about it for some time he said: "Well My name is Max. Yes, I restricted my power to the second level of knight apprentice. I am a knight level warrior.
