As Azazel sat in his mana manipulation class, he found himself getting more and more bored with the lecture. He had no interest in magic or the arcane, and he was struggling to pay attention to the professor's words.
That was when he noticed the main character of the novel, a young man named Alex, sitting in the row in front of him. Azazel had heard of Alex before, of course. He was the hero of the story, the chosen one who was destined to save the world from some ancient evil.
At first, Azazel was indifferent to Alex's presence. But as he watched the other man, he began to feel a spark of mischief stirring inside of him. He knew that he had the power to cause chaos and disruption, and he couldn't resist the temptation to mess with the carefully crafted plot of the novel.
So, as the lecture went on, Azazel leaned over and whispered a suggestion into the ear of his rival, a student named Jack who was ranked just behind Alex in the first year rankings. Jack, who was always eager to prove himself, took the bait and eagerly began to plot a confrontation with Alex.
Azazel sat back and watched with amusement as the two young men glared at each other from across the classroom. He knew that he was taking a risk by interfering with the plot of the novel, but he didn't care. All he wanted was to pass the time and have a little fun.
As the tension between Alex and Jack continued to grow, Azazel knew that it was only a matter of time before things came to a head. And when that happened, he couldn't wait to see how it all played out.
