A week elapsed, during which Chase dedicated himself to the rigorous practice of Tranquil Evasion and Storm's Wrath. Each day, he honed his skills, gradually becoming more proficient, until the time arrived to explore a new style.
On the Training ground.
"Today, we delve into the art of Still Waters Reflection," Master Li Wei's voice resonated, calm like the surface of a tranquil pond. "It is a practice of looking within, of understanding the currents that flow within you."
Beside him, Master Zhang Lei's gaze held the promise of revelation. "Still waters run deep, Chase. Through reflection, you can glimpse the depths of your soul."
Chase nodded to the master, closed his eyes, his breath steady as he began to turn her attention inward. With Master Li Wei's guidance, he observed his thoughts, of family, friend mostly his mother and Ava hoping to see them one day, without attachment, letting them pass like ripples on water's surface. It was a practice of non-judgment, of accepting the currents of his mind.
"Your mind is like a pond," Master Li Wei explained. "Reflection helps you see the truth beneath the surface, to understand your emotions without letting them define you."
As Chase continued to meditate, Master Zhang Lei's presence became palpable. "Reflect on your fury, Lily," he urged, his voice holding the intensity of a storm's approach. "The tempest within you is a source of power. Look into it, but do not be consumed."
With his guidance, Chase turned his awareness toward the storm of emotions that sometimes raged within him. he allowed himself to feel the anger, the frustration, and the determination. It was like staring into an abyss, both terrifying and liberating.
As his meditation deepened, Chase felt a sense of unity between his inner world and the tranquility around him. It was as if he was becoming a part of the stillness, his thoughts merging with the gentle rustling of leaves and the soft chirping of birds.
"Through reflection, you learn to find serenity amidst the chaos," Master Li Wei's voice whispered like a breeze. "In the eye of the storm, there is calm."
When Chase finally opened his eyes, he felt a renewed sense of clarity, of him having to battle the Calm and Anger within himself, The masters regarded him with knowing smiles, their approval a silent affirmation.
"You have taken the first steps into understanding your inner currents," Master Li Wei said, his voice carrying the wisdom of ages. "Through reflection, you can navigate life's challenges with a calm heart."
Master Zhang Lei's fiery gaze held a touch of warmth. "And you've begun to tap into the power of your emotions, Chase. It is a force that can shape your destiny."
"Now, we awaken the Wrathful Thunderclap within you," Master Zhang Lei's voice was like the rumble of thunder, commanding attention. "It is time to let your fury surge forth, contained and controlled."
Master Li Wei's calm voice filled with the intensity. "Remember, Chase, fury is not blind rage. It is focused energy, a tempest you can shape."
With Master Zhang Lei's guidance, Chase's breath deepened as he tapped into the wellspring of his anger. he closed his eyes, letting the fiery emotions rise within him like a storm gathering strength. It was a feeling both empowering and overwhelming, like harnessing the power of nature itself.
"Feel the fury coursing through your veins," Master Zhang Lei's voice was a command. "Let it be the catalyst for action."
Chase's eyes snapped open, unleashing shockwaves and wind, pushing against the master skins, he felt the surge of overwhelming energy coursing through him that he had to unleash. he moved, his strikes were fierce and precise, each movement laced with the energy of his fury. It was like unleashing a thunderclap, a release of pent-up energy and anger that reverberated through his being.
"Release it, but do not lose yourself to it," Master Li Wei's calm presence cut through the storm. "The fury you unleash must be guided, like a storm under your command."
Chase's training session transformed into a dance of raw power, his body a vessel of focused energy. he felt the fury shaping his every motion, his strikes like lightning bolts and his steps like thunderous reverberations. The training grounds became a battleground, and his fury became her ally.
"Remember, Chase," Master Zhang Lei's voice pierced through the tempest. "The storm is powerful, but it must serve your will. Do not become a victim to its force."
As the session reached its climax, Chase's heart pounded with adrenaline, his body glistening with sweat. he stood before the masters, the embodiment of the tempest he had harnessed. Master Li Wei's serene gaze met his, a reflection of the balance he was striving to achieve.
"Through controlled fury, you wield a force of nature," Master Zhang Lei's fiery presence softened with a touch of pride. "But it is your mastery over your emotions that will shape your destiny."
As Chase was about to leave the training grounds, he heard Master LI Wei call him back.
Master Li Wei looked at Chase calmly "I have one more skill to teach you now" he said.
Chase was unsure what the master meant in his mind hopping that it was not the end of his training he thought there was more.
"Concealment is to cover your presence and arua and yes I know what you are" Master Li Wei calmed while explaining his reason.
Chase was taken aback, remember in the Enchanter Guild some adventure said there felt something off about him, Chase realized they could sense he is a vampire but Chase also wondered if the master know, why didn't they decide to kill him.
"If you know what am I why didn't you end me?"Chase asked with a bit of interest.
Master Li Wei just calmly shook his head"I got no reason also, why would I kill you when there certain people that shouldn't be killed" he answered in his mind killing Chase will only bring him trouble.
Chase calm down a bit but still not believing what Master Li Wei said, the world has a death order for vampires why isn't the Master willing to kill Vampire, he just nodded to Master Li Wei.
"So to hide your vampiric presence, you have to feel it inside of you, slowly make it into to make a ball, and try to make it small as possible" Master Li Wei instructed.
Chase listen to Master Lie Wei's instructions and fell inside his body, at the same time he felt powerful dark energy being pushed out of him, he slowly started taking control of the energy and slowly started making it smaller until he felt he couldn't no more, he realized it.
"That's good for now," Master Li Wei said feeling Chase's presence was strong to him but others it's not there.
Chase nodded to Master Li Wei"Thank you, master," he said thankfully without learning concealment he wouldn't be exposed.
-New Skill Learned: Concealment-
-Concealment: With this skill, you can manipulate your aura and presence, cloaking yourself in an illusionary shroud that renders you virtually invisible to both magical and mundane senses, only those stronger than you by 5 levels are able to sense you.-
"Chase I have some more skills to teach you that are not severe and fury but that is for the future," Master Li Wei said.
Chae bent his body slightly"Thank you master" he said feeling blessed and thankful for the master teaching him.
Chase and Master Li Wei walked away together.
During the night, Chase took Luna out of the pet pen, appearing out of the pet pen she became half of his height.
"Luna, you've grown again," Chase remarked, Luna had grown bigger before but she had grown bigger again at a very fast pace.
Luna shrugged, seemingly lazy yet arrogant.
Chase then took moon berries out of his inventory" Lucky I bought more moon berries before coming out on the quest" he said pushing his hand out to Luna.
Luna quickly ate up all the moon berries," Were you hungry or do you just like these" Chase said.
Chae then left Luna out of the pen to get some air and move around then he went to sleep, for the next day of practice.
