The first task Chase decided to do is Goblins, Hunt down a group of mischievous goblins that have been stealing from and causing trouble in the region.
As Chase approaches the first village, he is greeted by curious villagers who notice his distinctive appearance, he also noticed the skeptical gazes and hushed whispers among the villagers.
One villager's voice emerged from the whispers, questioning Chase's audacity, "What does he think he's doing? Taking on goblins with just one arm?"
Another villager shrugged, "Maybe he's just looking for attention. Goblins are no joke."
Chase heard the villagers' doubtful demeanor, but he remains unfazed, As he approached a group of villagers, he exuded a nonchalant attitude.
"I heard you've got a goblin problem around here. Mind pointing me in the right direction?" he smirked, his words dripping with confidence like honey from a comb.
But skepticism still lingered in the air like a stubborn cloud. "You? With one arm? You must be joking," a villager voiced their disbelief.
Chase's response came with a touch of sarcasm, "Oh, I'm deadly serious. Goblins or not, I've faced tougher challenges before."
Mockery floated through the village, "We don't need some arrogant show-off getting in our way," another villager jeered.
Chase remained composed, issuing a cold warning, "Suit yourself. But remember, you'll be the ones facing the consequences if you don't let me handle it."
The villagers exchanged uncertain glances, unsure whether to trust Chase's words or dismiss him as a reckless dreamer. However, one cautious villager dared to speak up, "We've had brave warriors before, but they couldn't handle those goblins."
With a mysterious tone, Chase leaned on his spear and replied, "Well, maybe they were weak. I guess you'll never know. I'm different. If you don't give me a chance, you'll never see what I'm truly capable of."
Chase, leaning on his spear"Well, there were weak, I guess you'll never know, I'm different if you don't give me a chance." he said in a mysterious tone.
The villager hesitated "Fine, go and prove yourself. But don't say we didn't warn you."
Chase heads towards the goblin-infested area, leaving the villagers in a mix of curiosity and skepticism. As he nears the goblin cave, he notices a young boy watching from a distance.
The body came up curiously" Are you really going to fight the goblins?"He asked.
Chase looked at the boy and nodded.
"Even with one arm, you're brave!' the body said admiringly
"Sometimes, being brave means doing what's needed, even if it's difficult, "Chase said coldly.
His word didn't terrify The young boy but instead, his words touch his heart, as he watched him disappear into the dense forest. Sunlight filtered through the lush canopy, creating a serene atmosphere that was quickly shattered as a horde of goblins emerged from the shadows, wielding crude weapons and cackling menacingly.
Chase noticed that these goblins appeared to be more powerful than the ones he had encountered before. There were levels six to eight, and they swiftly surrounded him, their beady eyes filled with malice, eager to take advantage of his perceived disadvantage.
"Ra, Ka"
"Ta, la"
"Ka!"
With a fierce war cry, the goblins charged at Chase, aiming to overwhelm him with their sheer numbers.
Chase smirks "Big mistake."He said.
However, Chase proved them wrong. With astonishing speed, and agility, he skillfully wielded his spear, Chase swung his spear in a down arc, slamming his spear into a goblin's head, pulling it out, slashing to the side of his spear blade slicing a goblin's head off.
'I feel more flexible' Chase thought as he still had the feeling that his vampire bloodline changed his body.
Even with one arm Chase manage to doge perfectly, thrusting his spear into a goblin's head and sending it through the other side, before pulling out his spear he jumped kicked another goblin destroying its head on the way down.
Chase was like a lone flame in the midst of a storm, unyielding and fierce. His spear became an extension of himself.
Back away from the remaining goblins, Chase stood up and takes a deep breath, steadying himself before launching into action, because of his one arm he needed to use more strength in the other, using more energy, Getting back into the fight, He swiftly maneuvers his spear with incredible precision, keeping the goblins at bay, Each swing of his spear was like a stroke of lightning, illuminating the forest with bursts of deadly brilliance.
Goblins rush at Chase, but he counters away their sword of each attack, with remarkable skill, using his spear to block, he trips a goblin stomping it head in destroying it brain,, sidesteps another goblin he Sweeping Strike another goblin swiftly slicing off their legs, he continued to parry, and strike back.
Chase, cleverly uses the terrain to his advantage, leaping off a fallen log and delivering a swift blow to a goblin's head, on his way down, landed spinning his spear between his finger, his sharp blade slashed across another goblin instantly killing it.
Chase ducks and dodges as he counters the goblins' strikes, using the length of his spear to maintain distance and deal deadly blows, as he cant defend using his missing arm, Despite their initial surprise, the goblins quickly realize they face a formidable opponent.
"Ra!" A goblin shouted an the other tried running away, so chase them down, sliced one head, kick another into a tree, aiming his spear, at the last one running he threw it the spear went through the goblin's head, slamming its body into the tree with it.
"Perfect," Chase said happy that he managed to do it with one arm.
After cutting off all the goblin's ears, Chase headed back to the village.
All the villagers were surprised, "You did it! We never thought..." one villager said surprised.
Chase walked up to the villager"The goblin problem is dealt with. But next time, remember not to judge a warrior solely by appearances." he said coldly.
As Chase walks away, he leaves the villagers pondering the lesson he taught them about courage, strength, and the dangers of underestimating others based on mere appearances.
