Was the only word that could slip out of her mouth as she stared at White, she recognized him immediately as his scent was even more attracting than ever. But she didn't have to be a pessimist to tell at a glance that he wasn't the same person she'd met some days ago. His crimson red eyes looked down at her and her body froze over when he took a step closer and knelt on one knee to get a closer look at her.
She swallowed when his head slowly tilted to the side with his eyes fixated on her. Tilting his head again, he looked like he was trying to figure out something while Lynn stared back at him as his gaze pierced through her, what baffled her at the moment was the fact that the fear she felt a moment was gone, something else clouded inside her but she couldn't tell what it was. His hand rose to her hair and he fiddled with a strand before staring back at her.
"Is it you?" He finally spoke, his deep voice holding more presence in the dark night.
