3rd Person POV

Most people hate school, but not Dixie. She has fun there, especially in the library. She had always loved to read, but not the books about heroes or villains; she was more drawn to and interested in the ones about love, erotica, and romance.

Dixie constantly searched for more, but she never seemed to get it. She found that college guys made a lot of empty and deceptive promises that, in the end, made no sense to her. Flowers and chocolates were never her thing; she preferred to focus on passion, anger, and aggression. She wanted someone to completely control her, but given her luck, it seems like she'll have to wait a while.

Her childhood was complete as she grew up. She didn't have any daddy issues or a history of serious trauma. And as much as she wanted something to blame her odd preferences on, she didn't have that. Majority of individuals, like her, are just wired in this way. She'd read fantasies or do research on BDSM-based relationships, their elements, and how intense they could be.

She figured out her kink one day while exploring the world of kinks. Some kinks are absurd, but others are okay, she reasoned. She'd hooked up with a lot of individuals, but none of them gave her the pleasure and intensity she desired. They would either avoid being hard with her or seek roughness in the form of abuse and disputes.

While in college, she hoped that someone would finally accept her sexual preferences, but no one did. She started giving up on finding that and started staying more and more to herself as the only one who could make her orgasm, was her.

Dixie strode confidently through the large gates of Tarton University. Her academics and her attractiveness were the two things she valued the most. Dixie had a small frame and a flat chest, but she was stunning in a way that no other woman was. With her attractively toned skin and short, black hair that highlighted her eyes, she was unquestionably the catch.

Dixie

"Where the hell is my classroom, I can't be late on the first day," I reasoned with myself as I looked for room 06. I'm used to being late for everything and doing things on my own time, but I needed to be early for this class...apparently my professor is a real hardass. My parents have always cautioned me about my bratty behavior, but I don't care. It's either people handle it, or they don't.

I've heard a lot about this Professor and his harshness, so I'm even more motivated to get there on time. It's bad luck to get into arguments with teachers on the first day back.

Now that I'm in my last year at this unscrupulous institution, I'm hopeful it would treat me better than the others did. College has been the biggest bitch to me.

06....06...06

"Ah, there it is," I said quietly, walking inside. My anxiety level soared as I entered the room. The class was large and crowded with students I had never met before. You'd think that majority of the faces would be familiar, but you'd be mistaken; maybe one or two of them had lessons with me before, but that's it . My motto will always be get that degree and get the fuck out.

Looking around the room, I noticed that the majority of the students hurried to the back of the class, which was never my way because I'm easily distracted and this final year's course requires complete concentration. Like it's so fucking hard no damn reason. Due to my advanced level in gifted programs and the fact that I had mastered academics from a young age, I only needed to do two and half years of college. I suppose that's one of the perks of intelligence. I doubt I'd be able to complete a 5-year program like everyone else, therefore I'm glad for my God-given talents.

The front room had two empty spaces; one was near the door, while the other was in the middle, facing the professor's desk. I've always heard that people spend more time thinking about unimportant things in life than essential ones, and now I know why. I'm sure it took me five minutes to decide which desk to sit at, but I went with the one closest to the professor—no one else would want to sit there. A random boy even approached me and asked if I was lost. Quite an embarrassing thing to happen on the first day beck.

I was most interested in studying human behavior, which is why I enrolled in Mr. Beck's Psychology class. He's the city's most talked about man but I only hope all his praise is duly given. Everyone often speaks of how intimidating he is and how hard his class is, but I enjoy a good challenge, and how horrible could he be? I'm sure that as long as I do his homework and pay attention in class, there won't be any problems. He didn't need to know anything about me, and I didn't need to know anything about him.

I was more concern worried about my Literature class than anything else, to be honest. Doing Advanced Literature as a course, was like signing up for Mental Suicide, but you'll always find me chasing after things and topics I know will be difficult. It's like I get off on the pain it causes me.

English has always been a favorite subject of mine, but I've never felt stupider than when I started attending these classes. I recall reading a poem about an elephant and spending the entire exam on the line about the sun; it made no sense to me, but I did it nonetheless and I still passed, by a fucking long shot.

The Fifty Shades of Grey book series is my favorite piece of literature; I'm enthralled by the words, narrative, ambience, and writing. It's ridiculous, yet I aspire to live a life like that one day. I'm not going to get it, but a girl can dream.

'Pride and Prejudice,' 'Club Showlands,' 'Wicked Ties,' 'Silver Sword,' 'Bared to You,' and the 'Story of O' are some of the other books I enjoy reading. These are mostly erotica or mysteries, as those are my favorite genres.

Jane Austen is the author who first made me fall in love with literature. The most intellectually built and messed up novel I've ever read is 'Pride and Prejudice.' This bright woman definitely laced this book with narcotics, there is no doubt about that. Darcy and Bennett messed with my emotions a lot, but the finale was fantastic. That is a book I would recommend to anyone.

A lovely blonde haired girl and her male friend approached me, jolting me out of my thoughts. "Is there anyone sitting here?" she asked, gently and smiling. Why the fuck would somebody be so cheerful this early in the morning? I want whatever drugs or sex they're getting.

"No, you can sit here," I responded, and they both took a seat. This was starting to feel a little weird.

As the silence was becoming uncomfortable, I decided to start a conversation. It took me by surprise because I rarely do stuff like this.

"I'm Dixie, you guys are...?"

"I'm Kate and I'm Larray," they responded with respectively with laughs.

What was so funny?

"Dr. Beck's class is a tough one, the man is so in-"

Kate didn't get to finish her sentence because the classroom door opened and this Greek God-like man strode through it. He was attractive and well-sculpted. God undoubtedly worked on this person for days and hours to make them perfect. I've never seen any look like him. Clenching my thighs, I had to remind myself he's my professor.

But then again.....he may be a professor, but I'm just a lady with wonderful taste in men; sure, those men shouldn't be your professors, but who cares? Aside from the dozens of women, men, tabloids and media outlets who would definitely scandal me if something like that was to happen.

"Hello students," she said, loud and proud. "My name is Dr. Noah Beck, but you may call me Dr. Beck. We're not here to play games, get in shape, or drop the class this term. To get your first graded assignment of the year, go to your class profile. I don't have time for formal introductions in the classroom, so I'll learn your names in some other method."

What the fuck? He is intimidating. And what does he mean by graded work? The day just started...holy fuck.

"Construct a 2 page essay on the study of psychology as it relates human preferences and deviant behavior "

Due: tomorrow

Then I'd better get to work on this assignment. How am I going to get through this semester, let alone this year, with such an intimidator as my lecturer, was the burning question on my mind

No One's POV

The lecture was the longest and most boring part of the day, but Dixie found it fascinating. She was wide awake and taking notes while everyone else had their heads buried in their desks or were half asleep. He had been watching her from the moment he walked into the classroom, and she had no idea. His speech focused on the various aspects of human conduct and how they influence a person's emotions and actions. The words almost enthralled her, whereas the only thing that fascinated the other female students was the prospect of sleeping with him. They wouldn't let him off the hook, and Dixie realized how disgusted he was, and for some odd reason, she was disgusted as well.

He asked, frightening the students away from taking notes, "Does anyone in here do Literature?" Dixie considered raising her hand, but her apprehension prevented her from doing so. Noah noticed some anxiety and, being the domineering man that he is, he had to prod it.

"Young lady in front with brown hair," he said, addressing her. She looked around, unsure who he was talking about.

"I think it's you, Dixie," Kate said ominously to her.

"Are you talking-," she asked.

"Who else could it be? Is there another brow-, "

He began speaking in an obnoxious manner, but Dixie was not amused. Whether or not he's her professor.

She spat at him and folded her arms, saying, "You don't have to be disrespectful to me, Mr. Beck, and yes, I do Advanced Literature." The entire class was stunned; they couldn't believe she had done such a thing. Dixie would never disrespect him, but she would also not tolerate being mistreated.

"What a smart mouth you have," he scoffed as he began to walk around the room. "What books do you read in your spare time?" he inquired. "Or do you not to read?"

"Sir, your presumption is dismissive, but I've read Pride and Prejudice, and you strike me nothing far from Darcy."

"Ms. D'Amelio, you have a unique way of phrasing this. In any case, I'm not sure Elizabeth Bennett would have made the cut "He continued to pace while rolling his eyes.

"When Darcy was the one who was following her?that was a really misogynistic thing to say. It's always the powerful males, or those who believe they are "She guffawed. This statement had a bigger impact on his ego than he'd like to admit. She had every right to question his authority. Noah was intrigued, especially in a public place.

"There's a distinction to be made between sexism and factuality, but I'll concede that. Isn't it true that a man's desire for a woman has nothing to do with her incompetence?"

"True, but women back then didn't have many rights, and he took advantage of her ignorance. Some might even call it mental rape, but who are we to question Jane Austen's work? "She smirked at him with an evil grin.

The discussion on this book drew the attention of the entire class. They didn't take Literature in the majority of cases, and if they did, they didn't read or pay attention.

He remembered, "Jane Austen, the author of the novel 'Pride and Prejudice', which was published in 1810."

"Actually, the year is 1813. The year 1810 was the speculation. Mr. Beck, shouldn't you be aware of this? "She put him to the test.

He clenched his teeth with the prospect of being incorrect in this regard. He had a great sense of wisdom about him but that's doesn't mean he's always right. "The year is 1810. Is there anyone willing to rectify?"

"It's 1813 sir," a random student shouted "the article says Pride and Prejudice is a romantic novel by Jane Austen, published anonymously in three volumes in 1813. It has inspired many stage and screen productions, one notable adaptation being a 1995 TV miniseries starring Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth. The speculation date of this novel was brought about in November, 1810."

"I believe I am entitled to credit for proving you incorrect."

"I'm a psychology instructor, not a history teacher."

"Ah," she sarcastically chuckled, "the sight of a man who can't confess when he's wrong and lost to a female student."

The bell rang, signaling that the students needed to be dismissed for their other class. As he was about to finish speaking, the bell rang again, signaling that they needed to be dismissed for their other class. Dixie's heart was in her throat the entire time, but being a brat and a submissive has its advantages. Noah was completely captivated by her. She had shown to be so much more than a student in his class, and he would delve into this no matter what it took.

"Okay that's it for today, get your assignments done and I'll see most of you tomorrow, assuming you don't drop this class by now and the morning and Ms. D'Amelio, it was a great conversation," he winked and walked out.

He frightened her, but in a good way. He could take command and be domineering, which was the one quality she desired in a man. The frat lads, unfortunately, will never be like this.

She finally got a break and took advantage of it by going out to lunch with Kate and Larry. Fortunately, they all had comparable schedules and timings, so everything fell into place.

"Girlies, he's hot" she knew it. Larray was gay.

"Larray you're so fucking loud " Kate smacked him and shouted.

"But Dixie he's hot isn't he!?"

"Yeah I guess."

She knew she was deceiving herself, but in this environment, students are only expected to want one thing from their teachers: an education. Fortunately, Dixie was able to distinguish between her wants and her requirements.

After lunch, the day went by fast and smoothly. Dixie returned to her apartment after exchanging numbers to begin her assignments.

"Yes mom, it was a good day but I have homework" she told her mom over the phone.

Dixie grew up in Connecticut but moved to Los Angeles with her parents after receiving a college acceptance letter. She only has one sibling, a sister, with whom she is best friends. Charli was well-known on social media, so their entire family was well-informed.

Dixie had to move to an apartment closer to the school when college started because her family's residence was roughly 2 hours away. Her parents drove all the way out to see her, despite the distance. She adored her family and would go to great lengths to please them.

The call concluded with, "OK, bye mum, I love you."

Human nature is sceptical. It follows the path and plane of expression of our emotions and thoughts. Someone could be...

She began her research by delving into aberrant behavior and the factors that influence bondage partnerships. Her intention was that the professor would read this work of literature and focus on the fact that she accomplished the assignment rather than why she wrote about the topics she did. She explored the internet for articles, books, and videos to help her finish her research, and she even came across stuff that he had produced or for which he was credited as a contributor. He and his brains intrigue her once more.

After a few hours of writing, she proudly concluded her essay and put the assignment in her bag. The night fell quickly and she went off into deep slumber.

Noah's POV

Something about this particular pupil has piqued my interest. She is both intelligent and difficult, yet there is something else about her. She appears timid and worried, yet she isn't hesitant to put me to the test. I've been teaching for a few years and have yet to meet a student who is fascinated with Jane Austen's novels. Most readers go back to 2002, but her mind goes all the way back to the 1800s. She has a promising future in front of her.

I sat in my office, attempting to come up with a speech to give. Being a powerful guy in this world is exhausting, but I'll make it.

Bryce strolled in and asked, "Do you ever stop working?" That idiot.

"It depends on how much money I'll lose," I replied with a smile.

"We're both know that you'll keep your billionaire status. What are you doing here so late?"

"Working? What does it look like I'm doing" I sometimes worry that my best friend isn't the wisest man on the planet.

Bryce winked and said, "Tell me about your day, honey." I'm also concerned about his sexuality, but Halley will undoubtedly bring him up to speed.

"Oh stop up," I said, rolling my eyes, "my day was, to put it mildly, fascinating."

"In what way did you-"

"She's unique. I can see she's not scared to be bossy, yet she's also submissive." I interrupted his statements and began speaking. "A lover of literature and very knowledgeable, she's also quite attractive," I said. It was wrong of me to think about her in this light, but I couldn't stop myself.

"She?" Bryce couldn't figure out what was going on. He asked, "She who?"

"My student," I confessed, a little sheepishly. It's not about her; no male should feel ashamed of such a woman.

"Noah...," Bryce murmured, his voice cautious.

"I know, but it won't go very far." "It's just a simple admiration," I say.

"Let's hope that's the case."

Isn't hope an incredible thing?
