Mu Yang slipped past him and hid behind Nana. "This is Nana. Nana, this is Wu Bowen or Bryan Wu."
"Hello. Sorry for what happened before. Nice to meet you." Nana bowed down a bit while smiling awkwardly.
Bryan's eyes widened in surprise. But he quickly snapped out of it and returned her bow. "Ah, just call me Bowen, sis in law."
"Just call my name, you don't have to call me sis in law." Nana waved her hands.
"That won't do, right?" Mu Yang hastily interrupted. "Even if he didn't call you sis in law, he still needs to call you sister. He is a lot younger than you, after all."
It made sense, but Nana didn't want to burden poor Bryan to call her something that he didn't feel comfortable with.
"It's okay, sis in law." Bryan quickly regained himself and reached out for a hand shake. "But, please forgive my rudeness. How old are you exactly?" He asked carefully after Nana shook his hand.
"31." Nana answered lightly.
"Woah, it's rare for Brother Yi to pick a girl as young as him." Bryan's considerate words put Nana in a lighter mood.
Mu Yang smiled pridefully behind her. "Right?"
Bryan cooperatively nodded his head. "Then, I won't disturb you guys. I will leave first." He pushed the button and left both of them in the elevator.
Mu Yang and Nana waved their hands to send him off and continued to their floor hand in hand. After getting into their room, Mu Yang's phone rang and a message came in. It was from Bryan, asking him to meet outside.
Mu Yang told Nana that he was going out for a bit before the girl entered the bathroom. He, more and less, knew what Bryan wanted to talk about. The both of them agreed to meet in the lounge. When he got there, Bryan was sipping his iced tea.
"Bro, over here." Bryan waved his hand and Mu Yang strode towards him.
"What is it?" He asked without taking off his mask.
"Bro, is she really your girlfriend?" Bryan asked.
"Yes, she is. Why? Isn't she awesome?" Mu Yang still had that prideful look in his eyes.
"Bro, seriously? Is she your fan? Aren't you afraid of getting into a relationship with a fan? How long have you known each other?" Bryan was asking seriously. The concern in his eyes was obvious.
"Xiao Bo, she is safe. I can assure you. I have never felt so secure before. Even though she is a fan, she reaally didn't act like a fan. Also, I'm the one who chased after her."
Bryan had a disbelief look on his face. "Brother, you're really attracted to her, are you?" His tone changed into a teasing one. "Why? What's the reason? Are you sure she didn't use any charm on you?"
"What are you talking about? I've been with her all the time. I can assure you that she is safe." Mu Yang tried to reassure his brother again.
"The way you repeatedly say that she is safe is not convincing, Brother. What if she did use charm on you? You know, love charm that can attract someone."
Mu Yang was speechless and helpless going against Bryan's stubborn accusation towards his girlfriend. However, he didn't feel anything like Bryan said.
"Wu Bowen, trust me. She is nothing like that. She is a sweet, upright, and loving young woman."
However, the cautious Bryan Wu wasn't easy to convince. He was about to confront Mu Yang again, when Mu Yang suddenly asked him a question.
"You, what are you doing here?"
Being at the other end of the stick, Bryan was flustered. "I-I am here for the convention, of course."
"Xiao Bo, you're not a very good liar. Even Nana could tell that you are lying." Mu Yang shook his head helplessly.
"I am an actor, Brother. I can lie better than her."
"Are you sure? Didn't you feel cheated in the elevator before? Didn't you believe in her?"
Bryan stiffened. What Mu Yang said was true. He really believed in her words. The way she manipulated his mind was truly unbelievable. She made use the fact that what scared the most for an entertainer was to meet a lunatic fan who acted so normal at first then crazy at the next second. That kind of fan could do anything to be with their idol, so Bryan had been trying to avoid meeting new people alone. The fact that Nana could act it out so naturally that it was hard to find a flaw in her words made Bryan speechless.
He really saw the craziness and excitement glint in her eyes! Would his Brother Yi be okay with her?
"Wu Bowen, I'm good. You don't have to worry about me. Instead, you'd better take good care of yourself. If something happens to you, make sure to call me, ok?" Mu Yang patted Bryan's shoulder before he got up and left.
Bryan was left dumbfounded on where he stood up and it took time before he finally snapped out of it. When he realized Mu Yang had left him, he got up and went to do his business. Since his brother had said so, he could only follow his advise for now and let them be.
Mu Yang returned to his room with a smile on his face. It was almost time for dinner. He needed to bring his girlfriend to have dinner. Since the restaurant in the hotel would be packed full, he planned to bring her to a place where she could eat all she wanted.
However, when he got there, he was greeted with a sight that made his blood boil. Nana was sitting on the single couch in the room and drying her hair while watching something on her phone. She was wearing an oversize T-shirt with short pants underneath. Since the T-shirt was oversize, her shoulders were half-exposed to his eyes to see. Also, the way she tilted her head to the side while drying her hair was exposing her bare neck.
Mu Yang was questioning himself whether he was a human or a vampire. How come he had the urge to bite her neck?
