It happened when I was 16, I wan on my last year of high school. It was on Christmas vacation, it was another boring day. I got up and went downstairs to have lunch when I suddenly felt a warm feeling in my belly, I started to feel dizzy, then suddenly I coughed blood and before I knew it I was already on the ground as my conscious left.
When I woke up, I felt like my body was burning and that my head might explode. I looked at my surroundings and I saw my mum, and I knew immediately just how worried she must have been. On her right side was a man in suit trying to comfort her.
Later on, the doctor came in and explained that I had belly cancer, as he kept the explanation going, I asked if there was any way I could be cured. And he sightly responded "you can get a surergy and remove the cancer, but.... there's no hospital in our country that can provide that". To my surprise, I didn't feel any sadness, I was just amazed by how things were changing so quickly.
