When Dani first heard the noise coming from her sister 's room, she knew she was not going to get any sleep that night. When Conri showed up she knew he was saying the truth when he said he was Kyra's lover , and she felt relieved because she knew he was reliable. She knew her sister and how very stubborn she can be. So she knew there was going to be a lot of craziness going back and forth between the two of them , she need not hear about it, her hearing has been really oversensitive these days, she thought to get out of the house for fresh air , she could not sleep anyway. She tried to be fast since her sisters must not know that she was going out of the house after what happened two days ago.
She was quiet as she could possibly be, as soon as she was safely out of their building, she became lost in thoughts of her own, she never liked their new pack , absolutely not because they are not good people , they are amazing people, saying she and her sisters from whatever they were running from that night was proof enough , but she feels there are other amazing things she needed to do , things far more interesting than staying locked up in a pack just staying in her sisters' shadow and just being their funny little sister. There was always one fun thing or the other happening with her sisters , but not with her.
"I wonder what Kyra would say if I told her about going back , I want to know how it would to be with people who have known us from the beginning again, nobody can relate with me here, " She thought aloud as she made her way into the trees away from the clan , forgetting what she might be calling to herself , where her sister would not be able to help her. *nothing can be that bad , I won't stay close to the water like my sister , I can defend myself on land , nobody would hurt me here , and the Alpha would find me* she thought, giving herself hope as she moved carefree , enjoying the fresh air she wanted, lost in thought.

Viktor had been around the house , just looking around , monitoring , as well as protecting the Kesslers' house that night , his mate was in the house and he all of people should know what danger the girls are in. When he saw the three sisters talking together that afternoon , he had not expected to find his mate there, he had never thought the moon goddess would ever give him a second chance at getting a mate after years and years of being without one.
He was not as a matter of fact not expecting one away from his clan , talk less of someone who is an unexperience and the most stubborn of the sisters, he knew it meant his life would never remain the same , she would definitely bring unbalance and troubles his peaceful way , he has studied her enough to know that much.
Seeing her coming out of their house in the middle of the night when she knew there were dangers around was enough for him to know that he was in trouble having her as a mate , she would never go by rules , and she would never really listen to reason , she is a very bold one , he knew immediately that she was someone that he would never be able to tame so easily, she would never truly listen to him , or do what he says without having a voice her own. His former mate was a calm one , he loved that she was respectful and calm , soft and understanding , so he could literally do whatever he wanted to do without thinking about being questioned , but the one he was looking at in front of him , moving all by herself in the middle of the night was opposite of that , the moon goddess was clearly making a cruel joke on him.
" Where do you think you are going ? " His voice was like a sting in the stillness of the night.
" Oh, my gracious mama ! Who do you think you are to scare me like that ? Are you out of your fvcking mind ? " Her heart was already out of her mouth , she did not notice she was not alone, she began to feel frightened , her first thought when he saw him and how huge he was , was that he would definitely be a partner to the man that almost killed Kyra , maybe he has come to finish what the other man could not finish , and was going to use her to get to her sister , or better still , kill her first and go kill her sisters. But on second look , the man in front of her sounded and looked so calm and unreadable , he didn't look like trouble , even though his face was pale , and unbothered, he looked reliable. Like how Alpha Conri looked , with broad shoulders , lean and definitely hard body , just like how she likes her men should look , the man that was standing in front of her is just a perfect example of what she likes and want , her dream. If the moon goddess would just be as kind as to give her someone like Alpha Conri and the man standing in front of her.
"Close your mouth, you are about to drool all over your shirt " He was looking at her look at him , and he could almost not know what to do with her and the attention he was getting from her.
" What ? "
" Your mouth is open , and you are staring , you almost burned down the clothes on my body with those stares " As he talked with her , it became too much for him to handle , his wolf was jumping with excitement , to their new mate.
*how long has it been now* he ignored him , he was not about to answer the ridiculous question in from of her.
"Who the heck are you anyway ? Go your way and I will go mine "
" No, I cannot do that , when you seem to be hell-bent on putting yourself in trouble , and that definitely won't work for me "
" What do you mean you cannot do that ? do you know me ? " She took offense and her first course of action was to just get out of his way , even if he wants to or not. She moved out of his way , and started on the opposite side, but he was not letting her leave.
" What do you want from me ? "
No response , but he was not letting her move.
Viktor thought he had to have her safe , maybe it was out of selfishness for his own self or not , but he believes he was helping to keep her safe too. Before he could think more about what decision he should make , his wolf pressured him to get out of there. He listened , without preamble , and he picked her up, and across his back , through her licking and her biting. He almost gave in to her pleas, he almost wanted her to go , but letting her go would make it difficult to get her attention again , it was better if he left with her , if he took her back to his clan with him.
He tried all his best to be deaf to her pleas and her shouting, nobody would hear them anyway. He carried her until they got to where he had packed his vehicle, far away from her sisters and her home , and where he knew they won't be able to reach in just a moment no matter how powerful they are, he placed her gently inside the car , on the backseat , she was exhausted. He didn't mean to hurt her , or scare her but it was necessary, it was obvious she would not have followed him without force. He found some herbs around used to induce sleep, matched them together , and dripped the juice in her mouth , by the time she woke up , they will be far gone.
He was not prepared for what has happened so he had to go with the local way , thank goodness he knew about herbs. He would have to deal with whatever thing that will be in front of him after his act. He will gladly face the consequence.

When Kyra woke up the next morning after only a little bit of sleep , the first thing she felt she needed to do was to go talk with her sisters , they would have been so worried about her , and she needed to give them an explanation and an apology , and to acknowledge that they were only looking out for her.
She went to Lola 's room first , she saw her sister sleeping so peacefully on her bed with her favorite white duvet, she climbed on the bed and snuggled with her.
"Hmm good morning " Lola moaned from her sleep , " are you okay ? "
" Yes , I am okay , wake up "
" Oh no please , it is still too early to wake up , it is just about three in the morning. You know I am not an early riser, Let me sleep a little more " She turned away from her sister to the other side towards the wall.
" Lola, it is six in the morning , that is not too early. Okay, I will let you take all the sweet things you want and I have not been letting you eat. In fact, I will prepare a cup of hot chocolate for you right now myself "
"No, Kyra ! Don 't do this to me ! Gosh ! that is so tempting ! But NO! I am not standing up from the bed until it is twelve in the afternoon , you can make the hot choco then , I will gladly accept it" She said , without opening her eyes.
" I just want to apologize for last night "
" You don't need to , I am okay, I promise. . . You can meet Dani , she is the one who couldn't get any sleep because of you"
" I didn't know she was awake too. Can you at least open your eyes and speak to me "
" I know what you're trying to do , once I open my eyes , you know I won't be able to sleep again. Go to her , I will come to see you when I wake up "
With that , Kyra knew there was no progress trying to wake her up. She went to Dani's room , and let her self inside without making so much noise, but the room was empty and there was no sign of her sister anywhere. She could feel the tightening of her lungs , pain circulating through them , like they were about to burst open.
She found her way back to Lola 's room.
" I cannot find Dani ! She is not in her room ! She is gone! "
