Gyun was driving back to Gangbuk technical high school with Yuki and the 25 billion won, a little extra since Gyun provided them information that it was likely the Yakuza's, after dropping off the suited man to a isolated apartment building where there were Shin Group guards waiting. Gyun left quickly, he wasn't a fan of torture though he'd seen it a few times in murim. Personally Gyun felt a revulsion to blood and had for the first three years of his transmigration to murim even though he'd killed people in duels and fights it wasn't ever more then a fight to survive. It wasn't until the Heaven Orthodox war where Gyun's morals of a warrior and emotions slipped.
Now that he was back in the modern world he did not wish to kill anymore, thats why he was playing with children in the high school crew scene. But the allure of money for the kidnapping and his rage of the pain the kidnappers caused to him, Gyun could not let such a transgression go. -Morals are such a fickle thing, we live most of our lives trying to uphold them but when something threatens us or our status, we may hesitate but eventually we will act in our own interest. I've killed to many people in the pursuit of power and success to return a failure-
Gyun turned to look at Yuki, a teenage Yakuza killer probably forced into it at a young age. The higher ups probably saw use in raising a beautiful assassin, she's probably alone an orphan most likely or was made one, she was taken advantage of by old men in power and became a tool to be pointed in a direction and set loose.
Gyun pitied her, it reminded him of his past when he was used for his talent and spent 2 years in the Heaven Orthodox war and was used to fight opponents in place of the leaders who were always scared of fighting any opponent stronger then them. Though because of those experiences Gyun was able to grow stronger, he was always at the vanguard even at the eastern invasion into the western continents largest empire.
In all those paintings of his 'heroic' deeds it seemed his soldier raised for swords for him, but they were all raising them against him. At the same time it was his lonely life of violence that allowed him to become the 'the Undead' a man who was at the vanguard of every major war for a decade in murim, someone who existed for war. It allowed him to surpass a legend and become a myth, he left the West continent a victor as he reached the stage of Martial God. He became the strongest of all time, and separated himself from all factions no one could stop him, so he was left alone. It wasn't until he tried to make his own group did the world turn on him, but for a brief moment, those 3 months the Raven Black mercenary corps was the greatest power before the world went to war with him. Even his soldiers, friends and lover abandoned him in the face of money and pressure.
Gyun didn't die easy, even poisoned he killed thousands of Orthodox, Unorthodox and Heavenly demon cult members. The cuts and stabs and blood meant nothing to him he was operating on Qi and rage, eventually after 2 days and nights of non-stop fighting the Myth of 'The Undead' martial god died. That was when he woke up in his house the day of his transmigration, the myth had died and returned with nothing to show for it, losing his qi and left with only the Martial God body which had turned younger on his return and drastically improved everything about the human body. Hearing, senses, speed, strength, reaction time, learning ability and even physical appearance.
Gyun had been given a second chance so he would give this girl Yuki a second chance, "Yuki you got into this country with a fake passport and identity right?".
Yuki kept driving, since Gyun had no idea how to drive a car he let her. "Yes, it was one of my many identities"
"Will the Yakuza be able to track it?"
Yuki stiffened at the mention of the Yakuza, "I'm not a part of the Yakuza"
"Don't lie there have been cases similar to your own, and the tatoo on your neck and wrist combined with how someone your age can be so skilled at killing and have killed so many theres no other possible answer, so answer my question or I'll kill you" Gyun kept his tone light, yet Yuki still got scared.
"No they won't be able to, I was only ever given jobs, a co-worker recommended me to find someone to make one for me so they won't have known where I got it or that it exists."
"Good, how old is your fake identity?"
"18"
"And you said you were 20...it's believable then, ok from now on your going to enroll in a school in Gangseo or Gangbuk and you'll be one of my executives of the new crew I'm making. It won't be hard since someone who's good enough to have such killing intent at your age, it pays well and no killing."
"Didn't you kill all the other guards back at the warehouse?" She didn't sound convinced
"Why are you like that, the only reason I was back there was for the exorbitant amount of money they were offering me combined with the fact they hit me with a car it didn't bother me killing them. So how about it? I'm going to expand to the rest of the country and someone of your skills could run a city, especially with your experience in the crime world some street delinquents won't be a problem".
Yuki narrowed her eyes and turned to look at Gyun as she stopped at a red light, "why are you so nice to me, if it weren't for you being overwhelming strong I would have killed you and returned to Japan. I'm just a killer, one of the best, for the Yakuza you gain nothing from this but making an enemy of the Yakuza, I could kill you!"
Gyun stayed silent for a moment, "well don't take it wrong it's purely business, and" Gyun's voice turned cold "you could never kill me, the only reason I'm offering is because I can kill you like nothing so I have everything to benefit and nothing to lose. So keep driving I have to pay my members so I'm a count out the money."
Gyun grabbed the two duffel bags of money, he counted out 1.6 billion won out the 25 billion won. He grabbed the stacks of money that already came in a bundle of 10 million won, and emptied one of the duffel bags into the other and put the 2 billion won into the empty bag. He used a rubber band to tie 30 bundles of 10 million into 20 million to pay the 15 executives, not including Chungsan who would get 100 million won for organizing everything so fast.
Gyun after counting out the money, waited silently for 10 more minutes until they arrived in the parking lot. Gyun gestured to the back of the van as he spoke before he got out, "here's 15 million won give this note to Himari when she wakes up, and drop her off at the police station or hospital, and if you have second thoughts show up here again tomorrow night we'll be having tryouts."
Gyun got out with two duffel bags over each shoulder, "see ya" he walked towards the group as Yuki pulled out.
A voice came from behind her, "Well Yuki don't tell me you were seriously considering his deal were you? After all how can a 5th generation personal guard of the Tsukomo family betray the family that's looked after her? Well either way give me the note, I think he realized I wasn't asleep anyway, we might be in trouble depending upon what he does."
