Gyun started his bike taking his glasses off and putting on his helmet while facing away from Jiyu as Jiyu climbed on, "It's been almost 30 minutes did Chungsan and the others leave or are they still there?"
"I don't know, I guess it'd be better for you just to take me home", Jiyu said a bit shyly.
Gyun groaned, "Jiyu let me tell you something, I don't know where you live!" -Damn is this girls stupid or something?-
Jiyu coughed out of embarrassment, "Oh yeah right, just head to Gangnam I'll give you directions once we're there." Gyun sighed -Gangnam, I mean that's going to be almost a an hour to get there, but I don't really have a choice.-
He took off driving towards Gangnam, "hey, when we get to your house you owe me gas money for this."
---------------------------------
1 hour later
Gyun stopped in front of a gate, he looked at the massive apartment building it was at least 30 floors tall, and looked pretty new. There was even a guard at the gate, who was walking out to talk to them.
He was wearing a blue jacket and pants with security in white on his chest, Gyun noticed the taser and truncheon on his belt. "Hello today, are you a resident sir I don't recognize you?" he approached putting a hand on his truncheon.
-A bit jumpy aren't you?-, Gyun turn and tapped Jiyu on her shoulder, "he's asking you".
She leaned to the side, "hey Byul it's me, this is just my friend he was giving me a ride home, I just got to give him some gas money and then he'll be leaving." The guard's expression changed completely from hard and cold to warm . "Ah miss Shin welcome back, go right ahead."
"Thanks Byul! Ok 'Zero' lets go you can park your bike over there" she pointed at the first floor which did not have windows and instead a two way entrance. Which he assumed was the parking lot.
He was driving in and parked when he realized, -wait why the hell am I parking?! Aren't I just here to drop her off and get some money to pay for a tank of gas. I'm already near empty, I was planning on making a stop after this, so why the hell am I parking?!Wait no this could be an opportunity to scout out their house, since I plan on making an anonymous offer to the JL group anyway I can compare the two, well let's confirm her intentions first-
"Umm, why would I park shouldn't I just need gas money, you don't have it on you?" Gyun asked as he put down the kick stand. Jiyu got off as she played with her hair, "I forgot my purse back at the karaoke bar well I'm sure Hayun or Sua got it for me. But I don't have any cash so I'm going to grab some, and since you went so out of your way to give me a ride it wouldn't befit the Shin family if I didn't invite you in for a drink or snack, so follow me."
Gyun got off and followed her to the elevator that was at the far end of the parking lot. -Well I don't have a reason to refuse, this is a good chance to get an idea of the Shin family's standing. I've never heard of them or their company, though I was a training freak before transmigrating so its not that surprising.-
He kept the helmet on as he got in the elevator with Jiyu, he pulled his phone out, "Jiyu what was your family's company called."
She was preoccupied looking down on her phone, she answered without looking up. "Oh we're the Shin Group, we've been around for 4 generations so we've grown quite a bit".
He typed it in, and the search results were promising
It was one of the top 50 companies in South Korea and had a worth of 5.7 trillion won (4.6 billion USD), and had 7 companies under it's banner all run by family members. It was quite impressive especially considering that they had a congressman as their family's patriarch. He also noted that CEO of the company, who was Jiyu's father, had 3 children, 1 daughter and 2 brothers one which was younger then Jiyu and another who was in their early 20's.
He looked up from his phone and saw that they were at the 22nd floor and still going up, "what floor do you live on?". Jiyu answered calmly, "well this is our building so after the first 20 floors to the 25th is where the bodyguards, maids, cooks, assistants and all the rest live. From there the 26th floor was remodeled as a reception area, and features a space for parties and gatherings, the 27th and 28th floor were remodeled with a indoor gym and pool. And the last 2 floors are for our family."
Gyun was glad he was wearing a helmet because his jaw had dropped farther then when he transmigrated. -What the fuck! Who the hell has 10 floors of a apartment building reserved for themselves and their employees. And how much did it cost for them to build a pool on the 28th floor?! Holy shit this is just insane! Calm down, considering the size of the building each floor is about the size of a small soccer field. And that 5 floors are for employees who take care of the main family, and assuming that each employee lives on their own. The amount of employees would be insane! There would be at least 80-120 employees who live here, they probably would have at least 10-20 bodyguards on the premises. And with the Shin family's wealth their quality is assured, if something occurs there's no way for me to get out of here without killing some people. Wait it's pretty late her parents are probably here, I wouldn't care since I plan on meeting the Shin Group CEO. But this current situation with her bringing a boy into their house, could be misunderstood. Wait I can just say I'm a mercenary here to solve the Minsu issue, but wait a mercenary being allowed into their home sounds even worse, and if they want me to take my helmet off, then I'd have no choice since if I deny he'll just find out anyway with his resources.-
Gyun checked the time 8:24, he grit his teeth panicking as hurriedly thought of how to escape the situation. But the elevator opened at the 29th floor, he was in a hallway where a large set of doors were at the end with two large suited men stood on each side of the doors. Who moved upon seeing Gyun, who was still wearing his motorcycle helmet standing behind Jiyu.
"Miss Shin, who is this man?"
-Fuck-
