The rest of winter break passed by in a blur, as they moved in and got settled. Gyun had yet to return back to the Gym yet since he'd been busy with moving in. In his opinion while the apartment was nothing compared to their house it wasn't small, it had 2 bedrooms, master bedroom, bathroom, kitchen/dining room, and a small living room.
In Gyun's opinion they were still living well, regardless Gyun began dieting and working out using calisthenics since he was concerned that his 'true martial' body may be affected by lack of exercise or bad diet.
Eventually the first day of school came around Daegun and Gyun walked there together since they would be attending the same school just in different years. Gyun glanced at Daegun who was walking with him down the sidewalk, wearing his school uniform that him and Gyun got, it looked quite formal with the black pants white dress shirt and the red formal jacket with the school insignia on it.
-Well dad did say it was pretty prestigious, and was for rich kids and athletes, but at least the uniforms are somewhat stylish- Gyun thought as he looked at himself in a passing window, once again he was surprised by how much affect the body purification had on him, it let him grow a few inches in height. Making him somewhere around 6 feet, maybe 6'1. but more then that his face had become much more handsome, he now looked better then some idols, add to that how even through the school uniform his muscles were visible.
Gyun had a moment of pain though, - I worked so hard for 8 years and my physique was never this shredded-. He sighed, Daegun was preoccupied with his phone for the whole walk so they walked in silence amid the streets until they arrived at the school gates.
Daegun turned to Gyun, "mom said we have to visit the principal's office first since they want to give us a tour beforehand". Gyun smiled bitterly -does he think I'm stupid or something ?- "yeah yeah I know that's the whole reason we woke up so early right".
Gyun looked around and the school was empty at the moment even some of the teachers were just now arriving. -Ugh because of this I had to wake up extra early to get in a workout, damn this monstrous body requires 3 hours of calisthenics and jogging to get tired.-
Though he couldn't deny the school looked amazing, the outside looked very well maintained and somewhat new. While the inside and halls were very clean and had a nice color palette and aesthetic. They walked the halls and asked a passing teacher for directions, eventually they found the principals office, the principal was expecting them so they were hurriedly ushered into his office.
They principal was a portly man with balding hair and in his 50's, he was also much shorter then Gyun. "Take a seat, so you too are the Sung brother's right?" he said clapping his hands together with a grin.
Gyun was about to answer as he sat down but Daegun answered first, "yeah, I'm Daegun and he's Gyun". The principal looked at both of them evaluating them before picking up the file on his desk. "Ah yes I was just reading up on the two of you, Daegun you were the number 2 midfielder in the nation in middleschool, and Gyun you won last year's Kendo national championship, very impressive, your both so accomplished at your age. Not to mention you both have very good grades, both of you keeping in the top ten in your grade at your old schools." He said while smiling
He stood up and gave them a handshake, "I'm sure capable young men like yourself will fit in with the rest of the school, many of our student's are very capable, last year our school claimed 4 national titles across physical and academic activities. So don't get cocky and keep up the hard work, since this school is very competitive. I also trust you to not cause any trouble, but don't forget to sign up for your athletics." he said with a chuckle as he led them out of his office. "thank you sir" both Gyun and Daegun said with a bow as the followed him out.
Gyun liked the mans energy, he seemed very jolly, the principal added as the were walking towards the secretary. "I already informed miss Kim to give you a quick tour, and show you to your classes, ah here's your schedules, though I'm sure you can just use your phones." He said as he passed them there schedules. He had a short conversation with Ms.Kim who looked to be in her late 30's and seemed much more stiff.
Ms. Kim gave a short introduction and showed them around, the cafeteria first, where each grade would have their assigned lunch period. The cafeteria was quite large and the menu was quite good. Next were the club rooms, since the school focused on athletics as well as academics their was a warehouse on campus where all martial art focused clubs trained. There was the weight room, and several others as well as outside the track and soccer field as well as a baseball field.
-Damn all this looks pretty new they must've renovated recently-. Ms. Kim then showed them to their classroom since the school would open in 20 minutes. Gyun and Daegun parted ways, since 1st years were on the first floor, and 2nd years were on the 2nd floor. Gyun waited in the classroom since the teacher who had heavy bags under their eyes had just arrived to unlock the classroom "choose a seat it's free seating", he said and left for the break room it seemed.
Gyun sat alone in the classroom waiting, he checked his phone it read 7:20, "damn it's still pretty early". He moved from the front of the class to the back as he sat in his chair, he put his head down to try to take a quick nap. -Damn I was up at 3:30, I'm to tired for school right now-.
He thought as drifted off to sleep at his desk after just a few minutes of taking in the silence.
