A soft smell wafted into my nose as Tama appeared before me, my half lidded eyes opening in full as I saw the food that she brought with her.
Next to me, her head on my lap, was Astraea. Looking down I could see her nose twitch as she too smelled the food that Tama had brought to us.
"Here" I heard from my side, a plate of food being placed in my lap, along with some utensils.
Sitting up, making sure to not disturb the food, I sat in a more comfortable position. Astraea who had her head on my lap moved, her body leaning against mine, as she drooled, over the food or over my blood, I didn't know which. It was the reason that I ignored her.
I picked up the utensils, quickly cutting into my food and placing it into my mouth. It only took a minute for the food to completely disappear, the plate cleaned off.
Next to me, Tama, who had seen that I had finished eating, took my plate from me and with a flash of golden light made it disappear.
