Opening the full glass door, tipped her toe slowly inside the cafe as she just doesn't want anyone to notice her presence but her whole body flinched when the bell over her head rang, indicating that someone has entered the cafe, and her doe eyes widened big looking at the two particular people who were staring back at her.
"Shit, Susan. You are such a shit," she murmured to herself before turning around and rushing out of the cafe as soon as possible. "Taehyung" Namjoon mumbled as he stared at him. Taehyung who was cleaning the cups also froze on the spot, looking at the girl running away from both of them.
Taehyung wasn't moving any inches and he was left with some thoughts which were noticed by Namjoon and he came towards Taehyung. "Taetae, wanna talk to her? If you want, I can come with you," Namjoon said, looking down at Taehyung. Taehyung's lips made a thin line and Namjoon's dimples came to the display. "Let's go, then," he said, taking Taehyung's hand in his and walking past Jimin who was sitting at one of the tables.
"What about me?" Jimin yelled, looking at the two people who were about to exit the cafe. "Take care of the customers and exactly after 26 minutes, clean the floor and close the cafe. I will get the keys from your house." Namjoon yelled and went out of the cafe, making Jimin roll his eyes before staring at that one old guy who was having his coffee, scrolling down his phone.
"Hey, Mister," Jimin called, making the old man look back at him. "It's so cold outside, how can you manage to go back to your house at this age?" Jimin questioned, and the old man turned completely towards Jimin, and his fingers were asking Jimin to come closer. "Who called you old? Do I look like one?" He asked and Jimin gulped before shaking his head no, turning away from the old man.
"These days kids don't respect elders," and with that the old man started talking to himself, making Jimin release a huge sigh and just then he saw Julia crossing the cafe, walking towards her house. She was chatting to someone on phone and just then Jimin received a text on his own.
"I'm just crossing your friend's cafe," Jimin read her text and he raised his head to look at the girl. "Where are you?" she texted again, not looking inside. Closing his screen, Jimin wanted to ignore her texts and he saw her crossing the cafe completely, vanishing from his sight.
His foot was restlessly tapping on the floor as he ignored the texts and looked at the other side. But the more he wanted not to think about her, the more he was thinking about her. "Fuck" he cussed before standing up and the old man stood up along with him, making Jimin look back at him. "Did you just curse at me?" he said, coming towards Jimin and Jimin shook his head before yelling a no as he started running outside the cafe.
As Jimin ran out of the cafe, the old man's scolding was fading in the background and he was moving close to Julia. Julia who was plugging into her headphones didn't notice Jimin behind her and once Jimin came to her line, she tilted her head and wondered who was standing so close to her. Julia smiled wide before taking off her headphones and looked at Jimin with her fond eyes.
"Were you in the cafe?" She asked but Jimin's eyes shifted to the old man who was walking towards them, still yelling at Jimin. Julia's eyebrows jumped when he was coming closer towards them. "Look dear, he isn't respecting me. Ask him to respect elders." He said before walking in between, crossing them while Julia was holding back her laughter, looking at Jimin whose face clearly shows he was pissed off so badly.
But her smile vanished and her eyes widened at him. "Did you come out since he was coming after you? You didn't come for me?" she asked, pushing his chest gently, and Jimin's eyes fell on her pink-tinted lips that were pouted at her question. "Ahh- no, it wasn't it- I came to see you," Jimin said and instantly she smiled back at the choice of his words. She was already putting her headphones inside her bag and she came closer to the man.
"So, shall we go inside the cafe? It's been so long since I met your friends as well," Julia said, her head raised up for him and he was trying not to look at her lips which were freshly painted with her favourite lipstick. "They-they are not here," Jimin said. Julia giggled as she ran towards the cafe and Jimin couldn't help but follow her back.
"You are right. Where are they?" she asked as she sat at one of the tables, palm on her chin, and she looked around innocently. Jimin sat next to her chair, staring at her. "They had some work, so they had to go out while I want to clean the floor and close the shop," Jimin said and her eyes turned to him boringly. "Now I know why you came after me," she said, getting up, walking towards the floor mob, wetting it to clean.
"Hey, I can help-" Jimin said and Julia shoot her glares at him. "Oh yeah, thanks for the help," she said, as she started cleaning the floor whilst Jimin took the kitchen towel and cleaned the tables one by one. "I can't believe him," she murmured to herself as she was cleaning it and Jimin didn't go unnoticed any of it.
As they were cleaning it, she was walking past his table, and she turned back at Jimin who was cleaning the table. "Don't cross it, I just cleaned it. Wait for a few minutes," she said and she was about to go past him but Jimin held her arm, making her freeze in place.
Her shining eyes looked back at him and she held onto the mob stick tightly as he was still holding her arm. "Thank you," Jimin said, and her lips parted apart. "huh?" as she questioned, he cleared his throat before saying it again. "I said thank you, for helping me out," he added and her lips were forming a mischievous smile which was so beautiful to explain.
"Is this how you thank me?" she said, and she stepped close to him, standing right in front of him. Jimin completely turned around and looked at her flawless face and his eyes were travelling to her eyes and lips back to back. Jimin unconsciously threw the kitchen towel on the table and his hand was already reaching her cheek, cupping it gently.
She smiled before closing her eyes, desperate to feel his lips on hers. Jimin leaned in completely, closing his eyes as well and that's when the bell rang suddenly, making them flinch and move back as they looked at the people who just entered the cafe. Julia instantly recognised them and she turned her face away. Jimin was squinting his eyes as they walked towards them on the wet floor.
"Uhm, where's Kim Namjoon?" Yoongi, who just entered questioned, looking around the empty cafe and Jimin stepped up, moving towards them. "May I know who you are?" Jimin questioned back and that's when Destinee who was standing behind Yoongi, came in front and showed her ID. "We are from the Police department and we need to see Mr Kim Namjoon," she said professionally as she said Namjoon's name and Yoongi was holding back his smile for god knows how long.
Yoongi's eyes fell on Julia who resumed her cleaning and he disregarded his thoughts as he stared back at Jimin again who was talking to Destinee. "They just went outside. You can meet him tomorrow here." Jimin answered calmly and Destinee was nodding but frustrated as she couldn't meet him now.
"Do you know where he is right now? Because this is something important and we have to see him immediately," Destinee pursued her lips and Yoongi was holding back his posture from not looking at Destinee as it wasn't anything important at all. "Uhm, actually I really don't know so-" Jimin stopped as he looked at Yoongi who was staring back at Julia again.
Before Jimin could say anything, Yoongi spoke to her. "Have we met before?". Julia now stared back at Yoongi with her big eyes. She flinched at the sudden voice, shook her head as a no and she tried to resume cleaning while Yoongi breathed out heavily as he focused back on Jimin again.
"So yeah, we will come tomorrow, just tell him that Ms Jung has personally come to visit him," Yoongi spoke, emphasising her name and Destinee rolled her eyes, glaring at him. "Sure," Jimin smiled a little as they turned around and went outside. Jimin turned back at Julia who was still cleaning and he walked towards her.
"Sorry, it seems like you have to clean it again," he said and Julia looked at him before passing him the mob stick. "Can you please do it, I have to go," she said before rushing out of the cafe and he was so perplexed to see her vanishing from his sight. He couldn't understand anything as he ran outside only to see her running towards her house.
Jimin's eyes fell on the cops that just left the cafe. They were not far from the cafe and they were leaning against their car. They too looked at Julia who just ran in the streets, and Jimin's eyes were jumping between both of them. Sighing heavily, Jimin went inside the cafe and they waited there for a while for Namjoon.
Just a few streets away, Namjoon and Taehyung were chasing Susan on Namjoon's bicycle.
