Chapter Twenty- Four
I was worried. But I was excited at the same time. Was Liam prepared to go out in public yet? Had he anticipated the changes people were bound to notice in him?
My meeting with Dr. Robinson had set me back, and I hurried back to the mansion to get ready for dinner.
"Philip, where's Liam?" Philip met me at the entrance, as was his usual habit.
"Liam left early today. He asked mDinner with Liame to expect some packages for you. They're on the bed in the bridal chamber, Emilia."
He walked with me to the door, all the while keeping a proper amount of space between us.
Philip said, "Liam said to remind you your hairdresser is still available if you feel up to having a touch-up."
I froze at the thought, then shook my head. "Oh no. I'll do my hair myself."
He nodded knowingly and asked, "Will you be needing anything else?"
I shook my head. I was already closing the door.
