Pushing whatever furniture they could find towards the door so it would hold. Inna and Madeline went as far as pushing the bed, including the wardrobe to avoid giving Jeremy the slightest chance of getting into the room.
They were both sweating and felt tired after pushing all the heavy furniture they could find. They didn't stop until they felt the amount of furniture they had pushed would buy them more time to think and find another way of getting out of here.
"This should be enough, right?" Inna's gaze shifted to Madeline whose tired brows relaxed, and she looked at the furniture they had pushed before nodding her head.
