I asked as I glared up at him he looked a little confused at my change of tone "you losing" I smirked at my words and right on cue the doors opened and I bolted inside ready to tackle anything 'what do I have to be afraid of?,... After all I am an Afton' I scoffed at myself and attacked a one pointer

I released all of that pent up anger on the bots and boy did they feel my rath 'that's 330 points in the bag is there anything else?' I asked myself but then I stopped something, felt off 'hey L?' I called 'yes?' they responded 'do you feel that?' I asked 'yeah and I think it's best of you and everyone else gets out of this area because the zero pointer is coming' they informed I inhaled sharply but before I could say or do anything an explosion went off and the zero pointer was hovering over us 'this thing is worth zero are you serious?!' I yelled mentally but before I could run I heard a boy cry out in pain he was under a big hunk of cement without thinking I ran to him and immediately tried to get him out but the zero pointers foot was hovering us in that moment I snapped and touched the bottom of it's foot and right on impact it exploded into peaces I immediately felt weak but I still had to get this guy out after lifting the rest of the rubble off he looked at me worriedly "hey are you okay you're bleeding from your nose and ears!" He yelled ignoring him and his question I carried him bridal style and wobbly walked us away from the scene "wha- hey put me down I'm fine enough to walk I should be carrying and thanking you so put me down!" he ordered but I didn't listen until my legs gave out and dropped us both with that I closed my heavy eyes while someone was yelling for me to stay awake finally I was embraced by darkness

I feel to the ground hard but she landed somewhere close to me the buzzer went off to tell everyone that the exam was over but I didn't care I quickly crawled to her side and pulled her onto my lap and checked for her pulse luckily she was still very much alive I sighed in relief 'man she sure is a fighter, but it was so manly' I gave her a lopsided smile her features were calm and at peace even though she was bleeding through her mouth, noise and her human ears

finally a couple bots picked up people who were injured but it was just her and I "so tell me what happened" the school nurse asked while looking me over "well um after the 'Zero Pointer' popped up I got stuck under some rubble and something jabbed my leg but I harden it then she found me and started to try and get me out but the 'Zero Pointer' was ready to kill us but she touched it and made it explode" I explained making hand signs she nodded "well you're very lucky that she got to you" she smiled lightly I smiled back "Miss?, If I may ask what's her name?" I asked a bit awkwardly and bashfully "oh yes, her name is Eaiko sadly she is an orphan so no last name was given, I read that due to her destructive Quirk she was cast aside but here she is trying to be a hero if you ask me that's a fighter" she beemed I smiled back at her I looked over to the guy with messy green hair "what about him?" I asked pointing at him she looked over and sighed deeply "poor guy broke his right arm and both of his legs just by using his Quirk!" She yelled exhausted and she sighed heavily "I'm going to go get some supplies can you please be a dear and watch over them for me?" She asked sweetly I beemed "of course ma'am!" she nodded and left

I opened my eyes to see a white ceiling 'what the fuck happened?' I asked myself and then remembered 'that boy is he okay?' I sat up a little too quickly because I felt a pain in my head I groaned "woah hey slow down there's no rush!" A person panicked I looked over to see the boy I saved, I just smiled at him "I'm glad you're okay I was a bit worried" I admitted rubbing my neck he smiled back at me "yeah you worried me to I got so scared when you passed out but I'm glad that you're okay now" he beemed but he snapped his fingers and hit his head lightly like he forgot something "oh I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself, I'm Ejiro Kirishima" he held out his hand I took and shook it firmly "Eaiko" I responded with a smile he retracted his hand "well I can't say I've met a girl who can shake hands like that" he chuckled I sweatdropped "oh I'm sorry it's just that my father was a business man and he was very strict when it came to shaking hands" I admitted he looked a bit confused "aren't you an orphan?" I shrunk back acting like I've just been offended "well yeah I am but I still remember him" I spoke softly he jumped "oh I'm sorry I didn't know I'm so sorry!" He apologized I smiled weakly at him "it's okay" I reassured "no it's not" he whined I giggled at his behavior until I saw Izuku I gasped softly "Izuku!" I panicked 'how did I not notice him earlier?!' I asked myself, Kirishima looked at me confused and looked at Izuku "you know him?" He asked pointing at him I nodded "he and I are middle school friends, what happened to him?" I asked hoping that he knew "from what I've been told he broke his right arm and both of his legs just by using his Quirk" he explained but something didn't make sense 'Izuku doesn't have Quirk' I reminded myself 'something isn't right here' lolbit said suspiciously I bit my lip

I arrived home with an exhausted sigh 'E, you good?' lolbit asked coming around the living room to the front door "no L I'm not" I sighed again kicking the door close and taking off my shoes, 'what's wrong?' they asked looking a bit worried for me as I stumbled into the living room and crashed on the couch "I....I'm..scared.." my ears flattening down as if in shame 'you?, Scared?, HAHA don't make me laugh Eai!' they laughed I glared at the "not helping" I reminded annoyed they stopped and sat down next to me 'well whatever it is, I promised you that I'll protect you for the rest of forever and I'm not going back on that, you gave me freedom and a place to stay so I'll do anything in my power to keep you safe' they reasured patting and rubbing my back comfortingly
