Arriving in Bamberg the next day, Leonie jumped out of the carriage, followed by Marina. Leonie couldn't wait to start the wedding preparations and decorate the whole town for her big day. Lumina, on the other hand, didn't hurry and preferred to greet Nora and Zara, who were happy as if their biological mother was coming home. Zara even dressed like Lumina and wanted to become a witch too. Nora, on the other hand, aspired to be a priestess or soul priestess like Helga, but wore clothes in Valeria's style.
When Mortis got out, he was greeted by all his remaining wives and then by Merlin. "Nice to see you, new mayor of Bamberg," Mortis shouted out loud so that everyone nearby could see who the new magician in town was. Merlin was embarrassed because he only wanted to show his parents Mortis and now he was publicly elevated to office. Merlin's father, a magician, was proud of his son and swallowed the lump in his throat with joy. His mother, a small, delicate woman, broke down in tears of joy that as a weaver she had such a great son. Mortis looked at the two, smiled at Merlin, then walked past him and greeted the parents, extending his hand to thank them for Merlin's friendship. The parents bowed and thanked him for his kind words. After that, Mortis made his way to the castle, while he handed over the bears and rabbits to the furrier. Merlin's mother hugged her son, and his father patted him on the shoulder and said, "You have a really good and nice friend there." Merlin grinned and said, "Yes, that's true, but I feel like I'm going to work like a donkey."
Two days had passed, during which Mortis trained in the Shadow Tower and otherwise talked to Merlin to better understand politics. Leonie and the other women decorated the castle, the church, and the entire town with white flowers, causing a lot of hustle and bustle. Now it was evening and the wedding was the next morning. Leonie's family had already arrived to help with the fine details and provide financial support. They brought several tailors and hairdressers with them. Mortis was with Jasmin, getting a suit made by the tailor Kurt. Since both were to lead the new spinning and tailoring business, Mortis wanted to create jobs and not ruin anyone in his realm, so he let Kurt join the new business.
Mortis sat in the church, looking at the statue of his mother, where he would marry Leonie tomorrow. He wondered how many weddings his parents had attended and if they were really proud of him. Although he had some memories of his life as a god and had glimpses of other lives, he now wondered if he had really given his all in every life and always behaved correctly. Then he thought of his wives, with only Helga sitting on his side of the family. Whether he wanted to or not, he became somewhat sentimental and nervous. Even though he lived with all his wives, he would have to make a promise tomorrow, and that made him nervous like any man who has to stand before the wedding altar. After taking a deep breath once, Mortis made his way to the castle, where he tried to sleep to be fit for the festivities the next morning.
Early in the morning, as the first rays of sun broke through the clouds, everything became chaotic and Leonie could be heard sobbing because it was raining and she interpreted this as a bad omen, which made her even more nervous. Even Mortis became restless, although he was not allowed to see his bride, he heard the servants lamenting and it almost drove him to run into a temple and pray to a god. But he tried to calm himself down and waited to see what would happen, which was good, because Lumina had already entered the heavenly realm and gave both Luxia and the weather goddess a nudge. This surprised the two goddesses, especially when Lumina also set a date for her own wedding. The goddesses became nervous and changed the weather and the strength of the sunlight. They eventually manifested themselves as humans in Bamberg, as they could not suppress their curiosity and wanted to know what was going on.
Three hours later, a great procession of barons, princes, and even the king with dukes gathered to attend the wedding and took their seats in the church. Helga sat on the right side at the very front, while Leonie's family sat on the left side at the very front. Mortis' other wives wore light blue dresses and were placed on the left side as bridesmaids. Mortis himself wore a black suit with a white shirt and black tie. Baron Jochen and Merlin stood beside him as his groomsmen. In the back of the church, Luxia and Persephone sat down and were surprised to see Lumina as a bridesmaid. But what shocked them the most was how much Mortis had changed and how strong he had become in such a short time. When they also saw his eye, they did not know what was going on. But that should not shock them the most, as everyone slowly sat down and it became quiet, a silver portal appeared and Primus appeared in front of everyone. She made her wings disappear, as they would only be disadvantageous. Daniel wanted to immediately kneel down, as did almost everyone else, but Primus raised only one hand and said, "Calm down, I'm just here to attend the wedding. So no need for formalities, stand up." Daniel stuttered and asked if she would not like to give the speech for the ceremony. But Primus declined and went slowly to Mortis. What nobody noticed was how nervous Primus was. But when she saw Mortis' lips tremble and he whispered to his mother "Mother", Primus was probably the happiest god of all. Mortis tried to maintain his posture, but many thoughts were going through his head, especially about how he was often in his mother's arms as a child and how he played with her. But it also had drawbacks for Mortis, as his divinity was activated and the Red Snake moved faster and faster, as if reacting to Mortis' suppressed emotions.
Luxia was amazed. She had never thought that Mortis was a demigod. When Primus sat on the bench for Mortis' family, she was surprised. No minor or intermediate god knew if Primus even had children. Some suspected it, but no one knew for sure. It was also unclear if she had a partner. Just as Primus sat down, a golden portal appeared, and a blond, muscular, and very handsome man stepped out of the portal and sat down next to Primus. As Luxia was about to say something to her friend, a note was handed to her that said: "You will not say a word to anyone." Luxia read the note and nodded vigorously. Lumina had seen everything and was secretly laughing at her two friends who were sitting there with their mouths open. But she would see this expression more often, as she would be getting married in two weeks, in front of the stone of the first words.
When everyone calmed down, Merlin went to a piano and played and began to sing "Book of Love" as Zara and Nora entered as flower girls, distributing white roses. Count Lares von Bayreuth came to the church with his daughter in his arms, tears in his eyes. Leonie's wedding dress has a long veil made of fine tulle that gently drapes over the bride's shoulders. The veil is adorned with delicate lace appliqués that extend into the long train of the dress. The train is very long and creates a majestic effect as the bride walks down the aisle. The lace appliqués continue onto the train, giving it a romantic and dreamy touch. The dress itself is made of a beautiful, flowing fabric that gently falls around the bride's body. The sleeves are short and also decorated with delicate lace that emphasizes the romantic flair of the dress. The dress is decorated with a delicate bow at the waist, which subtly emphasizes the dress and gives the bride a feminine silhouette.
The guests were amazed by the sight of the bride, who nervously walked down the aisle, where her husband awaited her, equally nervous, and then was received by her father. Lares sat next to his family on the bench, while Merlin finished his song and Daniel began the ceremony.
