"Ahh" yelled Alan as he was pushed from his bed onto the floor.

Alan looked at him with a disgusting look maybe because he was tired. He dragged himself to the bathroom put on fresh clothes and came out awake.
They both gave each other a nod and decided to head into the backyard for the early training.

Alan understood the assignment while also taking his stance to fight Barry.
They both launched themselves and, Barry having the speed advantage reached Alan first and was able to land a blow on his face he reacted just in time to defend but was still pushed back.
Alan quickly regained his ground and decided to battle head-on. As their battle continued the trees and the debris around them started to fluctuate rapidly.
Barry used his legs to kick Alan which gave him the slightest knockback but Barry had something else planned, he jumped back and while midair launched 8 kunai at him.
Alan was startled to see this and was not ready to face weapons. His face was like a face of a 3rd grader between teenagers. He was terrified and the fog was filling his brain as he closed his eyes.

A gust of wind around Alan formed one strong barrier with the color green and stopped all the kunai in their tracks right there.
"New move I see, someone's learning quickly" complimented Barry.
Alan regained his breath and was cursing himself to be afraid because he found out the kunai's were made out of rubber and meant to trick a person and make him lose confidence.

He launched himself from the ground as the wind around him formed a barrier.
Barry being confident of his strength decided to stop it with his hands but to his surprise, as he stopped the gust of wind Alan was nowhere to be found enveloped in it.
At that moment Alan emerged from Barry's blind spot with his eyes bright green. Barry looked at his face and saw no mercy, it was like he was about to finish him off.
Alan placed one foot on the ground with a slam to gain the power to lift him as he landed an uppercut to Barry.
Barry was sent flying but he performed a backflip midway to regain his ground. He touched his mouth and a small amount of blood was pouring out.
"You got me there you Sneaky little" added Barry while cracking his knuckles to fight for real.
He took a deep breath and looked at Alan's eyes for a moment and then released his move.

He lifted off the ground again transforming into a strip of light but this time he wasn't heading in for a straight attack, instead he was moving in such an unpredictable manner that to Alan's eyes he kept appearing and disappearing until he was nowhere to be found but behind Alan's back with his hand on his neck.

They both calmed their aura as the battle came to an end with Alan accepting his defeat.
The boys went back into their house, took a shower, and were on their way for the duel.
"You seemed to be serious when you punched me," said Barry while grabbing his swords and placing it in his belt.
"Bro, when did I hit you? You were too quick"
replied Alan.
Barry looked him dead in the eye with a hefty amount of suspicion, but he didn't want to be nosy but he still had his eyes on him.
They reached the training grounds to see a whole audience including local people, master
And their students.
"Oh now we have to win for sure," said Barry in his egoistic form.
They both hung around the canteen for a bit and grabbed a snack as they skipped breakfast.
After waiting for about 20 min Hazel arrived along with the referee and a special guest, The Master.
Barry immediately bowed down and grabbed Alan by the neck as well to bow and show respect.
They both greeted the Master and made him sit down on the best seat in the arena.
Both the team took their positions on the battlefield and by the press of a button an invisible layer arose from all four sides trapping them in so that their attacks don't hit the crowd.
"Ladies and Gentlemen grab your snacks as we witness a Ranked Match in which the winner shall take the spot of the other team.
On one side we have the "Apex Assassin" and on the other side we have "The Casters".Hang tight to see who shall win this fight", announced the referee.
Both the teams took their position and each of them gave the other a death stare in the eyes.
No swords were allowed so Barry and Alan took their stance with their hands.
As the bell rang, Barry rushed towards Hazel while Alan's target was Shelby, but to their knowledge, they didn't expect their opponent's IQ.

At that moment a whole tsunami's worth of water appeared above the ceiling and was falling on them with great force.
"Alan!" ordered Barry while still aiming towards Hazel as he was not afraid of the idea of water falling on him.

A huge force of wind wrapped around Alan's arm as he pushed it upwards and held the water in its place.
Alan's feet started to sink into the ground as he was trying to lift the water and blood started pouring out of his nose.
Shelby appeared before him with a cold look and without hesitation started to punch him in the stomach.
Alan's hands being occupied at that time, he couldn't do much and had to depend on his resilience and Barry.
Barry finally reached the end of the water range and cast a Light screen in front of him to prevent a direct attack from Hazel.

The whole water above Alan disappeared into sparkles and he arose with the same green eyes as earlier.
He landed a blow on Shelby which gave her somewhat knockback but she also countered they both sparred head-on with Shelby gaining the advantage as Alan was already a bit injured.
At this point, Barry was also sparring with Hazel but was having some difficulties as she had way too many magic abilities and was countering Barry quite well.
They both Carried out their battle until they heard a scream from behind which slowly faded away.
"DAMN NOO!!" shouted Barry while running into a certain direction.
