"Shut up!" I was taken back by his volume. He never once raised his voice at me. "No,you shut up!" I yelled back "And don't you ever raise your voice at me again!"

There was a huge silence. Neither one of us dared to say a word. "I'm tired Brianna" he stated with a tired exhale. I watched him as he rubbed his bloodshot eyes. "if you never loved me why'd you stay with me? Why'd you have to cheat on me? Why?" I bit my cheek at those questions. Truth is I didn't know myself.

I never intended to hurt him in any type of way. As I was about to say something he spoke up "You know what? Don't even answer that" he said tugging his hair roughly

"I'm done with this toxic relationship if I can even call it that" he said bitterly "I need air, I need to breathe, and get out of this toxic atmosphere. Anyway Good bye. Enjoy. Have a good life. Goodnight"

"How long has been?" Melissa questioned "Since what?" I asked confused

"Remember eight months ago, the break up? Ring a bell?"

"Seriously" I rolled my eyes knowing what she was referring to "Yes seriously. Do I have to say his name?" "No, no you don't have to. I already know who you're referring to" I answered carelessly "Do you ever think he'll come back?"

"I don't know Mel stop it with the questions" I said irritated "Okay, okay fine. Sheesh" she raised her hands up in defense "Wanna go to a party?" I suggested changing the topic. It's already been what? Eight months since I've seen him? He's probably over me so why should I care.

"No, no. I don't want to" "Yes, yes you have to" I insisted

"Whyyyy" she whined "because I'll buy you ice cream if you do"

"Not sold yet" she said turning away "I'll buy you ice cream and you comic books she looked at me suspiciously searching for all honestly in my eyes

"Pweeesse" I pleaded "Brie you can't go to party's" she pointed out "Says who exactly" "your business" "Please Mel just this one time" I whined

"Fine" she groaned "yes!" I said jumping up and down

"Absolutely crazy" she said while laughing "been told sista"
