—(POV Sapphire -Guild Master of Phenix-)
I fired my most powerful spell. He horrified me, his large smile and the odd ways his body shifted and moved. He wasn't even a monster. Monsters are like goblins or griffins. He was an abomination.
He was also huge. Though his physical body wasn't, every knew deep down he could get HUGE. With the way his extra arms extended out and formed the towers, it was as if a castle appeared from nowhere.
So in a fit of fright, I casted 'Eagles Flight' a powerful spell meant to eliminate the boss monster in a single swipe. But all it did was slightly scratch his hardened exterior.
A loud sound rang out as a felt I stinging headache getting worse and worse. Everyone around me looked and an expression of horror shown on their faces. Before I fell over from the pain I reached up and felt my head to feel a small hole with blood leaking out as I collapsed into a world of darkness with a golden orb.

A good ally and friend collided with the ground as more shots rang out hitting our mages.
This boss was now frowning as the shots continued to ring out and we charged with our weapons drawn.
"Formation change," the boss yelled "Jungle Gym." The tall wall sunk back into his back as a tall gorilla armor rose up smashing our front line. The gorilla got off of the platform and a new being started rising up.
"Stop that new beast from spawning," another combatant yelled before getting swatted into a wall from the gorilla.
The new beast agile and lean, jumped into our back line of the remaking mages and ranged combatants were. This new armor was feline with darker armor imitating the stripes that the tiger would've had if real.
Though we wanted to help our back line a new machine was creating from the bosses platform body. A large spike broke through the skin in the platform as the boss now began to make noises as if in agony. Following the noise the armor started to form faster and we felt true fear.
An enormous rhinoceros charged breaking through the skin as it wasn't fully exposed yet. It barreled through most of the tanks with its large body. We had almost a fifth of our troops remaking and no hope in destroying the boss unless he killed himself.
We haven't even been able to deal damage to the bass yet as we have been to busy dealing with his summons.
And then out of the abyss that the rhinoceros ripped it self out of came swarms of smaller insects that consumed everyone they touched. We were overwhelmed and defeated. I only survived due to my contract with a being from another dimension.
I woke from my slumber after being eaten to see my friends and comrades reduced to bones and blood splatters. The animals are crawling back into the split in the platform they came out of.
They all simultaneously turn their heads and stare me down. A fear I didn't feel even while dying entered my body as I sat frozen.
A sharp whistle permeated the room and the animals resumed going into the gap. I sat in disbelief that the boss wars letting me live. Then I remembered the informational meeting before we enters the dungeon, he always keeps someone alive. With be being the only one left meant the he knew of my ability.
My ability activates on death and revives me after a certain amount of time. After the last beast entered the boss finally pushed himself off his planking position and walked towards me.
"Hello there miss, I have quite the numerous questions for you. But when I say you, I mean you." He said furiously spitting out the last part as he grabbed the air above me.
A phoenix appeared in a flash of flames gripped by the neck.
"You," the boss spoke, "You mother fucker, I assume you're a spokesperson for, well, him." He said while pointing up into the air.
The phoenix nodded and struggled against the hand holding him. He let out a shrill call as the boss slammed his other hand covering the beak.
"No can no bird, I need to when it's happening," as he said that the Birds Eye's shot wide open.
"I've been around for so long seeing so many things, please let me FUCKING DIE," he angrily shouted before snapping the neck of bird.
The phoenix didn't turn to ashes, it simply landed in the ground, dead. In a flash of brilliant light an angelic figure appeared surrounded by rotating cogs. His eyes that of clock with the pupil being the center point with the hands moving along with time.
A large hand ripped from the bosses back reaching for the angelic figure.
"Chronos, you absolute fucker. We had a deal. Whatever happened to that." The boss angrily shouted as the angelic figure disappeared from his spot in an instant appearing to the right of me.
He sadly looked down at the ground. "Sorry old friend, but He doesn't want you around anymore." He said while disappearing from his spot as the giant hand slams into the ground where he once was.
The boss's head though having no eyes conveyed a face of disbelief and betrayal.
"The quit and join me, also, what's with this form. No, it can't be. We're you fucking demoted." He said while his mouth contorted into his usual sadistic smile, though this one was that of someone who was so surprised and saddened they could only laugh.
"You have changed so much Chronos, how's your son doing. How old's he now? 115, 116? Time really slips by when you have to run from your FUCKING BEST FRIEND."
"I didn't want this to happen, and you know that too. If I bring your head with me everything can be fixed. My son's dead and the only way to bring him back is to bring your head with me." The figure spoke as the boss froze and Chronos charged at the boss with a blade the shape of a clock hand.
"Stop Chronos, your blade is too dull to deal damage to me." The boss said as a blade bounced off of his neck.
"I know how much your son means to you. Here." And he grabbed Chronos' sword and chopped his head off. His body slumped over and collapsed down. Chronos cried out holding a head with no eyes, ears, or nose just a sympathetic smile. After their outrage they faced towards me and cut my head off.
"Won't be reviving this time. Phoenix is dead." Was the last thing I heard as the great cold abyss wrapped around me.
