Chapter 2 - Paving a way for yet another beginning

On the throne located in the empty palace sat the man. Countenance of the reincarnation of apathy, robes resembling those of a royal of the universe. The unfocused abyss-like eyes staring into nothingess.

Stepping into the palace a being with a human like appearence but still exhibiting a clear divine aura, clearly showing off its godhood. Not weirded out by the cold and dark looking interior of the palace nor the person sitting on the highest throne still unfocused, he made his way to kneel before man on the throne and spoke:

"Your majesty, the Council has once again come to plead for your help."

Shifting his eyes off the ground to look at the being before him, finally gaining a reaction out of him by him flinching when his gaze shifted to him. still maintaining his kneeled posture and bowed head he did his best to remain cool.

after a few minutes of waiting the man finally opened his mouth to speak:

"Tell me, why are we here."

thrown off by his question, it took the man a moment before responding:

"What are you getting at, your majesty?"

Speaking with a straight face he said:

"I am asking you; for what purpose are we here."

"Shouldn't you know the answer for that since it is precisely because of you that we exist in this very universe, your majesty?"

Finally breaking free from pure apathy that once ruled his face and forming the slightest of smiles he said:

"in fact i do."

Looking at the Monarch, a small smile on his face whilst confusion was taking over him. Too stunned to speak, the silence stretched out until the man finally spoke from his throne again breaking the silence:

"Let them know i rejected."

"Yes, i shall do as your majesty has decreed."

"Good. then, You are dismissed."

"Yes."

As the lone god took his leave the man finally rose up from his throne, apathy taking over his face once again. looking out of the window structured to see most the universe he sighed. Gazing upon the millions of stars and galaxies plastered on the fabric of the void he began to mutter to himself.

"Cosmos shall once again fold itself to nothingess."

As by triggered from his pain filled words spoken while sighing the universe began to collapse into itself. Nobody expecting the universe to collapse, panic began spread among its residents.

At the edge of the universe the man still stood by the window silently admiring the sight of it all.

At his moment of peace the god whom he had just dismissed had barged along with many other gods in tow.

"Your majesty, you have to get out of here!"

Many of them yelling in unison caused the man to look at them and say:

"It is still too early for you to command me around."

Speechless at the response their monarch gave them, they then simply stood there and watched as destruction sped closer and closer. contrast to their panicked expressions the man looked at the scene with calmness.

"Yet again i have failed to instill order and reason to the cosmos."

As the last word came out of his mouth the universe finally fully collapsed leaving nothing behind.
