Chapter 67 - The Monsters in the Tides

As the winds of the stormy sea knocked the sails around, the waves shook the ship.

~The Crew Leader

Tie the sails!!

The crew of furry men rushed to the sails as their leader wished.

~Meanwhile

Maki paced around the bedroom.

~Maki

I don't like this.

~Kenchi

Do you mind I'm trying to sleep.

~Maki

How can you sleep right now? I mean, is it even possible for such a treasure to exist?

~Kenchi

Not for a second, but I'll entertain their delusions. We'll get to Jin-Hi regardless of whether the fountain is a myth or real.

A scream pierced the air. Both of the adventurers sprinted outside.

~The Crew Leader

Stand strong men!!

The pirates swung their cutlasses desperately, at what seemed to be a crab the size of the ship with two crusher claws and two pincer claws.

~Kenchi

I'm starting to think this life isn't for me.

Kenchi jumped on top of the crab, and punched a hole through the crab's hard exterior. Kenchi's stomach growled.

~Crew Leader

It seems I made the right call by hiring you.

~Kenchi

Yep. (I haven't eaten in since we killed that dragon. I guess this will have to do).

Kenchi ripped a leg off the crab used his spirit flames to roast the leg. He gripped a chuck of meat.

~Maki

Hey, don't eat all of it.

As his tongue touched it his face tightened in disgust, and he spitted the meat out.

~Kenchi

(it's bitter). How can you be so cruel god?!

~Maki

On second thought, you can have all of it...

The weather had become tame.

~The Crewmate

We're here!!

~Maki

There's nothing, but ocean.

~The Crew Leader

Time to go under. Artifact Release: Bubble Prison.

A bubble formed around the crew leader, and rapidly expanded to cover the ship.

~The Crew Leader

This is a one uses artifact. The bubble only keeps water out.

~Maki

So we're going in underwater with a thin bubble that anything except water can come through.

~The Crew Leader

Well, when you put it that way it sounds like we're going to our graves.

~Maki

Great.

Maki expression was of irritation.
